As soon as we got there multiple people saw us but never greeted or acknowledged us. It took them about 20 minutes and they sat us once I went out of my way to approach an employee. I understand if it’s busy but at least acknowledge your customers and let us know what’s going on. There was later an older man sweeping right on top of us with a loud cart and another customer complained about it also and nothing was done. We ordered our food with water and they served us our food but we didn’t get our water until we were nearly done with our food and that’s only because we reminded a girl that had walked by. The service was ridiculous the food was okay. We will never be back.
I thought that the issues with this ihop were because I ordered delivery before. Not the case. I sat in the waiting area for 15 minutes without anyone attending to their tables in the dining room or coming out to the waiting area. I then called the ihop and the phone number was sent to voicemail so the phone did not even ring. I then went to dining room area where I could clearly hear waitstaff laughing and joking w/profanity. And I asked if anyone was taking orders. A member of the waitstaff that was clearly eating comes out and says that he will take my order in 5 minutes because they were “trying to get orders out”. I continue to wait for a waiter or waitress for 15 more minutes. And ONE Togo order comes out as some of the tables in the restaurant stand and then walk past me grumbling/half-joking complaints about actually going in the back to cook the food themselves because of the long wait. One table that had not been served got up and totally left. I then still ordered my food and was quoted a 15 min order time for a 2x2x2 modified with crepes instead of pancakes. I told the guy who took my order who was clearly maybe an expediter or some other staff that I would wait to pay the check and add tip until I got my order. Which I still gave an appropriate amount…IHOP always has good food tho and staff was pleasant once present. But IHOP get em some help they need staff ASAP!
It seems I always have some issue with takeout. Twice I had to wait 10-15 extra minutes to get the coffee I ordered after I got the rest of my order. So I stopped ordering coffee. Today, the guy behind me got service before me and the sour cream I had paid extra for was not included. I could go on. Enough is enough. No more.
Just left with my food..first off the customer service sucks..what's the use in the order being printed in English if you still gonna read it wrong n get it wrong. I'm sure your website is not spelled wrong . I asked for a omelette with bacon, sausage green pepper and onions with no cheese printed clearly on my receipt. Get it all the way home to be disappointed, American Cheese all through it ...smh. pay attention and do better.
When I arrived there was nobody at the front to greet or seat customers and the busboy said someone will be right with you. 10 minutes later we were still waiting to be seated. There were only 2 customers so there was no reason for it to take the waitress so long. We weren't given any napkins and the waitress went to get the bill and never came back to the table. The food was excellent but the service was horrible
NEVER NEVER EAT THERE Horrible, there was only two customers in the dinning room and our purser took more than 30 minutes to be served, it was not hot when it arrived. Flavors were horrible the hot chocolate was looking so oily like the mug was dirty, we left the food there, we pay for it, “as we don’t like shows” but will never come back to that IHOP, GO TO ANY IHOP IN VA IF YOU LOOKING FOR A TASTEFUL EXPERIENCE!!
Who’s running that place? Server 👎 It’s important to treat everyone the same. Also some black dot was floating in my drink. Did the server brush dirt in my cup? A Hispanic woman that was my server wasn’t too kind, I don’t know her name.
very racist employee, i was waiting to be seated on a booth for about 15 minutes. another couple came in & saw they were cleaning booth, employee took them in to sit them at that booth which we had been waiting for. i had told the employee i was waiting for a booth & she ignored me and said i would be seated after them and that couple had just walked in the door. very rude and disrespectful, never coming back.
