I thought I’d start my day off by first enjoying breakfast at IHOP. BIG mistake! I should have saved myself the money and went to McDonald’s. They weren’t busy so I was seated quickly. I waited over 5 minutes for my order to be taken. I asked for water but did not receive. I ordered the new Buttermilk biscuit meal solely because of its great advertisement. The biscuit wasn’t flaky and the gravy was bland. How do you in good conscience serve a customer burnt bacon? I asked for butter for my biscuit but didn’t receive it till I was halfway through my meal. My server completely ignored me and never checked back with me after delivering my meal. Worst experience ever! Will not dine in again.

On the way back home, we stopped in Michigan City, Indiana at this IHOP and was a good decision. There was no wait time which was nice on a Saturday morning. The waitess named Cheyenne was super sweet. I ordered A Southwest Chicken Bowl with Grilled Chicken, Eggs, Cheese, Hashbrowns, and Queso and it was so filling. I also had two Buttermilk pancakes. My son had Chicken and Waffles and my husband had eggs, bacon, and French toast. Sorry no pics for their food. They were ready to dive in. If you are in the area, stop by this IHOP and get great service and leave with a full belly.

Came in on New Years Day and it was pretty busy. The staff at the front desk seemed helpful. I was seated quickly but they gave only two silverware with three people and I had to grab my own booster seat. I had really been craving a Belgium waffle, so that was the main reason we were there. The kids ordered orange juice and the server explained that it was just taken out of the freezer and not ready yet. For meals, one kiddo oedered mac & cheese with applesauce but they were out if applesauce and kindly swapped it with fresh fruit. The other kiddo ordered the cupcake pancake breakfast meal and was very excited about it. It took a really long time to get our food and once we did, we were never once checked on. After we finished, I waited to request boxes and the check but did not see our server. We went to the bathroom and upon return, our check was on the table. We put on coats and waited longer to request take-out boxes but nobody came, so I went with the kids to the front counter and asked for two boxes. When I got back to the table a minute later, they were clearing the food. I asked them to stop so I can box the leftovers. The server came to apologize. The food was good and I would consider returning, just be wary of certain factors like how busy they are because it might affect service.

The waitress was very polite. She did a pretty good job of keeping up with all her tables. The food was delicious. Especially the crapes!!

Great manager that's very friendly. Had the pleasure of being taken care of by him twice. Pancake tacos were delicious.

I don't like to give bad reviews, but I have to tell it like it is. When my family and I got there, we were seated pretty quickly. We noticed that the seat had some sticky substance that was pretty noticeable that someone cleaning the tables should have noticed it. I had to ask for a rag to clean it up so my wife can sit down. We were waiting awhile for us to get our order raken. When our drinks were brought to us, there were some white stuff floating on top, including on my daughter's drink. We had that switched out and here comes our order. We had asked for our eggs over medium and low and behold, the eggs were not done completely that I had to send them back and get it scrambled to make sure that they were done correctly. The experience there was not the greatest and yes, I won't be going back. Sorry IHOP, but I'd rather go to to Suzy's in Valparaiso or Cracker Barrel.

I don't usually leave reviews, but today, Sunday, the service was very slow. We got our food with no silverware. Our orders were not what we expected. After asking for the salt and pepper, another waitress got it from another table and they were sticky with dried food on the top. We didnt see our waitress again after she brought our food. We had to ask another waitress for our check and to-go boxes. I know short staffing is an issue, but keep trying.

The waitress took over 5 minutes to even come to the table. We were sat at a table near the wait staff area and could see the cook line. Cooks were on point. Food seemed to be out timely as the line was constantly on the line. Looked good and presentable. However, didn’t help since the wait staff had it sitting there. Our waitress seemed careless and inattentive to her client’s needs. We had to ask for napkins 3 time to only get two (2)!! The worst was her digging through a bin through wet receipts and then wiped her fingers on her shirt to go take a gentleman’s order. Mine you he had been waiting awhile and ended up getting a coffee to go and left after a long wait. If there was a manager on-site it’s a shame she/he didn’t see the poor quality of service from her staff. As I mentioned the food was good. Kuddos to the cooks ☺️ But, the wait, waitress and the overall poor cleanliness discourage our family from returning. Sophia’s across the street was EXCELLENT we had breakfast there Saturday morning.
