We went for breakfast today. I ordered over medium eggs. The waitress gave me scramble eggs. She said, "Oh, that might be someone else's order." I waited for 10 minutes and still no breakfast. I told my hubby to eat his food before it got cold. Waved down our the waitress and requested my food. She had forgotten and returned with warm greasy food. I ate a little, and then we left. My hubby said his breakfast was greasy, too. However, he liked his pancakes. I'm thinking we might try the restaurant at a later date.
After only a short wait, our small party was seated. Our server was doing her best to keep up with the crowded place (as were all the others). The food took a little extra time to arrive, but that's because the place was busy (can't knock them for that, can we?). Towards the end of our meal, the server noticed my hat, denoting my military service, and after thanking me, deducted 10 percent from my portion of the bill (greatly appreciated, but not necessary). All in all, I would be most happy to return to this location. The food was good, the service was impeccable, and the value was fantastic. Thank you.
I definitely enjoyed this one. It was four of us and the serving was fast and accurate. The two eggs easy breakfast was fantastic. Thank you. We will come back.
Great service and our food was ready fast
Our party of five plus a toddler in high chair were told there would be a 30 minute wait and were okay with that. Our food actually took more than an hour and a half to be fully delivered to the table. The restaurant wasn't even half full - we figured they must be short staffed. After about 40 minutes, wait staff came by at least 3 times to say our order was almost up, or coming up next, etc., yet we continued to wait and wait. At one point we were told they were slammed with to-go orders and couldn't keep up. When the food finally arrived, most of it was ice cold, other than 2 meals which came out much later than the others. All the pancakes were cold and hard with crunchy edges, obviously sat on the counter a very long time. Eggs were cold, other than the one plate that came out last, and those eggs were cooked completely differently than ordered. Hash browns, bacon and sausage all very undercooked and cold. Very little was eaten by anyone. After having been there close to 2 hours, there was no way we were going to send anything back. Our waitress said she would discount our bill 50%. The manager, whom we had never once seen in the restaurant until that moment, brought our bill out and said she had comped us some of the total. Turns out she comped us only half of what the waitress said - our $98 bill was reduced to $70, when most of it had been left uneaten on the table. None of us will ever patronize IHop again.
Stood in lobby for 8 mins. Restaurant was not busy at all. 4 tables seated. They saw us but did not even great us. My kids were hungry and the lesson here don't beg people to take your money. I've worked in Restaurants as front of house and waitstaff. I get if someone didn't show up or it was time of shift change. But they could have atleast acknowledged our presence. Not going back.
This is an amazing restaurant. I came here one morning to get a breakfast taster plater. I was quickly seated at a table by the only staff member at the time. Terry Beachlow took my order and had my order completed in under 20 minutes. That would normally be a long turn over time for a restaurant but, Terry managed it even with a family of 13 that were there before me. She did it all without burning the food. Terry Beachlow was stead fast in all areas. Terry managed the waitress, cashier, and cook’s role by her self. If anyone deserves an appraisal. Terry Beachlow would be that one. Amazing food. Service. Atmosphere. Clean environment. I highly recommend this location and Terry Beachlow.
4 pancakes and a coffee $15. Pancakes tasted like the mix and grainy textured. Not buttery at ALL. How does one fail to cook a pancake ? haha. Support your local mom and pop shop. No effort from this establishment. Hope this helps.
