It was midnight when my sister and I went. So it was quite dead, but ig they were understaffed because tables were still dirty, and it seemed like there was only one server. Drinks took a while to get, but our server was very nice. Once we got our food , although it didn't look like the picture on the menu, it was super good. When we were done, our server Ashley gave us our boxes and asked me if I wanted more sauce /syrup topping for my pancakes. She didn't have to do that, so I appreciated it so much. I had the Tres Leches pancakes . Ashley was super nice and tried her best to give us great service despite being the only server. I had a nice time.
Went a few months back and gave them 4⭐ due to service and the food was OK. The building needed some repairs. We went yesterday for dinner and after this trip we will NOT GO BACK EVER AGAIN!! All understandable that the server was young and good chance still learning. But nothing we ordered came back correct or done right even after the cook came and verified how we ordered our food after it was sent back the first time. When our food came back the 2nd time it was even worse. My steak tips were burnt and scrambled eggs like rubber. My daughter ordered a classic burger with bacon. She got a BLT at first then got a burger well well done chopped up and the cheese wasn't even melted. My fiance got an eggs benedict meal and it was not correct it had ham in it the first time, and when came back it was hard to tell what was all over the top of it. The family in the table next to us has the same issues. They left 2 minutes after we did. We ended up going next door to Chick-fil-A where we know the food would be done right. AGAIN, WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN.
This place needs to be shut down! Roof was leaking everywhere inside and could only imagine the mold and didn't notice until we ordered and was leaking worse when we left! Over cooked/burnt chicken tenders and chicken paties! No manager on duty and even a hair was found! They replaced chicken but it looked like the oil hasn't been changed in a long time! Definitely avoid this place at all costs!
Waiter was pleasant but told us it would be 15 minutes before he turned in our order. It was over an hour until we got our food. We were not given refill to have while eating our food. I finally had to go find another server to get a refill. Our server disappeared. Furthermore had to wait for 30 minutes for someone to pick up our check.
Haven’t been here in a while and figured we would go for some breakfast. When we arrived we were told it would be a 15 minute wait so we told them that’s fine and waited… about 10 minutes later the host came and told us that the wait would now be between 30-45 minutes. We were already there so we decided to wait longer. We were then told we are not allowed to stand up while waiting in the front and must either sit or stand outside…. We ended up getting seated and when our food was served 4 plates out of the 9 of us had hair all throughout our food. Two of the plates, which were for our children contained pancakes that were COMPLETELY RAW in the middle. We mentioned it to the shift manager r and she brought our waitress over kind of making it seem like it was her fault and asked if we either wanted a refund or for them to remake them. No sorry, no apologies what so ever we’re made… pretty rude environment. Won’t be going back to this location.
I’m a server myself and I really am disappointed with the people here. We didn’t even get a proper greeting just “ what can I get you😑” It’s understandable to be understaffed but that doesn’t mean you need to have an attitude with the guests. As a server myself I know how to handle stress and still be a good server. Not to mention we could see and hear the servers arguing with the cooks in the back. The food was good but it’s sad the management isn’t better and it’s clear the servers are to stressed out to care about the best service, which is ironic because with a good server that communicates and is happy to be there, it would make the extremely long wait for the food not that bad and the overall experience better but with a bad attitude it just makes the whole thing a bad experience. Still good food and some good people here but some attitude’s definitely need shifting.
Waited 15 minutes to be seated. Waitress came and took drink orders. waited 15 more for drinks and placed our orders 30 minutes later she came by and admitted that she had forgotten to put in our orders. Finally after 1 hr and fifteen minutes received food! Tea was brown water (no taste), food and syrup was cold. Not a fan! Last trip for 3 adults. Very dissatisfied!!!!!!
Over an hour and a half waiting on food all we ever got was a cup of coffee granted they did keep that coming… but here’s the situation we were in Bristol TN for the race this weekend. After the race Saturday night we arrived at the IHOP in Kingsport TN store 4435. At 1230 am our drinks were delivered… the waitress had the entire store to herself because the other people didn’t do anything. People who came in after us got their food and ate and left yet we still only had coffee. Waitress super nice kept promising it would only be a few more mins… finally 130 still no food we asked it just be boxed to go due our ride home…. 5 til 2 she walks out sees me standing keys in hand say omg and walks back into kitchen we wait another 3-4 mins and got nothing. I did pay for my coffee and was gonna leave her a tip but with that response nope I mean almost 2 hours and no food. I called the store got the manager and her excuse was well u left, and I’m cooking because we are short staffed she wouldn’t hear anything we had to say other than to offer excuses because of staffing issues… I’m sorry but if she’s the one cooking upon realizing the issue she “the manager on duty” didn’t do anything she didn’t come to the table and she sure didn’t get our order to us. I do not recommend this location to anyone
