This location is clean and spacious. Also, they have plenty of food options. Looks like IHOP added many new items on their menu list. I ordered a new item called Avocado omlette that tasted nice.

While the food was fine and the place was clean (and deserted), the service was subpar and we had a real problem with the menu, which was not resolved by the manager. You have to seat yourself, which means getting a server's attention is hit or miss. Once we sat down, we got some water and the menus. My daughter and I each ordered the Breakfast Sampler that was advertised on their 65th Anniversary menu as part of their all you can eat pancake promotion (photo of menu attached). The food was pretty good (although the sausage links were inexplicably burnt). When our plates were mostly empty, we flagged down the server (she didn’t check back) and asked for two more pancakes for my daughter. The server said that we could get a short stack (3) or a full stack (5). I said we wanted the two that came with the all you can eat promotion. She said no, that doesn’t apply to your breakfast. I asked to see the manager. The manager came to our table and brought the menu. With no hello or apology or preamble, she said that extra pancakes weren’t included – they were $5 extra. I showed her the page on the menu that didn’t say that. Again, no “sorry for the misunderstanding,” just nope, not included. I took a picture of the menu to include with my email to the company. She walked away. When the server came by again, I asked for the bill. She brought it and walked away. It took me a few minutes to realize that she wasn’t coming back, and I had to take it to the front. She never said anything like, “I can take care of that up front when you’re ready,” or anything else to indicate that I needed to take it up front. We went up to pay the bill, and the server finally moseyed up to the counter. She struck up a conversation with an employee of the attached Flying J and didn’t acknowledge us. I paid the bill and left about a 15% tip. She kept talking. Finally, I apologized and interrupted their conversation. I asked her to please tell her manager that if they had just given us two pancakes, they could have avoided any issues with us. As it was, I would not be coming back to iHop. She shrugged and said, “okay.” I realize that my patronage at their restaurant doesn’t matter to them, and judging from the empty restaurant, I am guessing they rely on travelers, not locals. It’s too bad because with Flapjack Shack closing, I thought I had found a new breakfast spot. Turns out, they don’t have to worry about me going there anymore or the 20 cents it would have cost them to give us two pancakes.

Located INSIDE the Flying J Truck Stop. The restaurant is always clean and the Staff seems to be friendly and inviting. The food was made to order and fresh. Everything was enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

The food looks good but after waiting an hour and a half we decided to pay for our coffee and leave. We were told that our order was up next but that they had a lot of on-line orders. This is just my opinion, when you have customers at your restaurant, they have priority. If they couldn't keep up with the orders, they need to work out a way to manage expectations. We ended up going to Sophia's in Grand Ledge. We were in and out within an hour and a half.

For a 1st visit I really enjoyed my French Toast breakfast. It wasn’t very busy but also seemed understaffed as well. Our service was good too. It was seat yourself upon arrival. The sausage had a little spice to it too. My eggs were perfect, I always order well done eggs and no one cooks them well done.

Every time we go everyone is very kind and nice. My Family and I had a few hiccups with our meal tonight such as the previous shift forgot to make Gluten free batter but the staff informed us and made it up to us. We greatly appreciate the kindness and because of that we will be back! Plus the food was yummy too!

Family of 4 went on a Thursday night. We had to teach our 8 year old the definition of "stellar service" because of our waitress. Food was delicious and service was great.

We were disappointed at our last visit to IHop. Like many other places, the prices have gone up and the portions and quality have decreased. We recently dined in for breakfast and we both ordered the classic 2x2x2x2 combo. We added onions and cheese to our hash browns and selected turkey bacon for our meat choice. When we received the bill, we were shocked that the turkey bacon was an extra surcharge of $1.49/each, the onions and cheese we added to our hash browns were also surcharged at $1.49/each. Add $4.00 for a short glass of orange juice...our bill was close to $40. It wasn't the fact that we were surcharged for the add-ons, it was the amount that was too much for a pinch of onions and a pinch of cheese. The turkey bacon is priced the same as the other meat options on the menu, so we did not understand the surcharge for that. We were told that turkey bacon costs more, but again, is priced the same as other meat options on the menu. Management gave us 10% off our bill as a "senior discount", but we will never eat here again. We paid our bill and still left a generous tip as it wasn't our waitresses fault for the nickle and dime pricing. This used to be a good place for breakfast, but not anymore as it just isn't worth it.
