We arrived toward the tail end of the brunch/lunch rush. The young woman who was handling the bulk of the greeting and seating was doing a wonderful job, despite some customers being less than desirable characters. Our waitress was polite and quick, the food was a plate full of awesome, and it all reminded me of seeing my grandparents when I was a kid. A good time all around.
I love the food and the wait time a very good and reasonable time. There was a specific waitress there and i cant remember her name. I had her multiple times and she will know who she is when you ask her about a kid and his mom. And the kid liking mango lemonade. Anyways. The service was fantastic. They were friendly. And very respectful. The only downside i have is that the floor plan of the resturaunts carries sound across very easly, making the space pretty loud if your in the center of the room. Over all though. 4.75 stars
Food was good, waitress was awesome... Kinda mad about kids being disrespectful to their mother around but overall pretty nice. I was just hangry, ate my Colorado omelette and chilled. Over all good.
Have not been hear for awhile. Ordered takeout for the kiddos on Sunday. The place is packed. The wait was 30-40 minutes. We called in advanced, drove 25 minutes and had to wait another 20 minutes to get our food. After we drove home, they forgot one of the order so we had to drive back. The food was good. The kiddos loved it. Even though it took a long time, I do recommend this location.
Waitress who had tattoos was very good and courteous. Gave us our food in a timely manner and was very polite. Food was good, I had cinnamon roll pancakes where very good and friend had chocolate chip pancakes both excellent. Would go again.
Usually very happy with this restaurant, but this time sadly, not a good experience. I understand and respect that problems sometimes happens, but when there is a problem, at least they could act like they care. Ordered on line, drove to get food, and got back home to find all sides to our meals missing. So drove back to get this fixed. Not one person apologized for the missing food. I almost feel as if we were being doubted that so much of the order was missing. If there had been one side missing, I would have just forgotten it, but three sides? The food probably would have been really good, but after driving back and home again, the food was cold. I actually accept the mistake, but I don't accept that not one person seemed to have even cared. We eat here quite often, but will probably not visit anytime soon.
Just left IHOP in Ankeny. One menu for two of us & it had pages falling out. We paid with a gift card, then she simply said thanks. Hubby asked for the card, she said we were free to go. He asked again for the card. She acted confused. I said, there's still a balance on the card. She opened her hand to look at the card & said, Oh, yeah there is, & gave it back. She had NO intention of returning our card! Btw, we'd already left a cash tip.
Service was excellent Very friendly and well organized Food was delicious
