The sushi was amazing. The Ramen didn’t have much flavor. But would be great if you like more bland flavors. Would recommend getting the sushi. The restaurant had a really nice ambiance. The service was good. The price was definitely not too much.

Cozy little Japanese restaurant that serves very delicious ramen soup and sushi. The bento is very good, too. I've dined here over the years and watched other restaurants come and go. I'm glad Ichiban has a steady presence. The service here is quick and very attentive. It's relaxing and quiet after lunch hour.

A great local restaurant that's quickly become one of our favorite Sushi spots in Sugar Land. It's not very big, maybe 12 tables total, but that adds to the experience. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is always on point and fresh. Kid friendly with plenty of parking. Unless something changes, we'll continue to be Regulars🙂

I love how filling and crunchy everything is, especially the shrimp. The tapioca is very nice and I could tell that it’s fresh. The only thing was that their fried yam, eggplant, and cucumber in the bento box was a bit gross. Crunchy shell, but mushy and bland vegetables inside.

Cute long time favorite sushi restaurant. Food is always fresh and with great taste. Restaurant is neat and feels organic-design wise. Calm without overwhelming staff.

Great Sushi and Tapioca place!! My family and I have gone there since many years ago and are never disappointed. My favorite are the Kensington Roll and the avocado roll but there is a variety that you can try. Presentation is always good and the service is great. Go early if you want to make sure you will get a table as this us a small place. Great Tapioca as well.

Definitely great Japanese cuisine. Not the best I've had and my sushi seemed a bit warmer than I like it, but these were little things and everything was okay. This probably was due to how incredibly tiny it is in the restaurant. Our party of about 10 (had a baby and some young ones too) took up about half the restaurant. Plus there was a party of 6 and a couple in there at one point. Only room was the sushi bar and I think another table. It wasn't cramped, but very intimate, and it did get a little warm in there. We went in late Winter so no idea how this will feel full tilt Texas summer, but I can guess it wouldn't be as comfortable. Besides the size, the service was immediate and responsive. It's Japanese custom to raise a hand and say something if you need service, but they also did a great job of the western style of observing the state of the table. We also almost forgot the babies bottle and they noticed immediately. I'd say try and catch this place in the off hours and definitely call ahead.

My wife and I have come here a couple of times already and we love the mom and pop, chill vibe of the place. The couple that works and hosts there are so pleasant and sweet and the food is awesome! I love their Hokkaido Roll and Ichiban Roll!!! I think my new fave spot for rolls!
