Breakfast Menu "Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries" Mebane

This is our second time ordering to-go from here. First time (back in August) the food was delicious, tonight not so much. Cheesesteak: The amount of steak (as seen in the picture) is pathetic. Chicken sandwich: bun was squished and did not look very appetizing Not sure we will come back after this experience.

We’ve been to this location many times (among others). They have the nicest, most polite staff. Ordered fried food for takeout today, which is really hard to get right and still be hot/crisp when you get to your location, but it was perfection. Thanks for all your hard work and for being the best Highway 55 around.

When I feel something is more than I want to pay for it but I want to try it? I'll check out the kids menu. Cheeseburger and fries. Overall? Not bad. Won't buy again or any of the other foods but not bad. The fries are crazy heavily salted but that's just whoever did it this time. I think they would be okay otherwise. The burger is actually really not bad at all. Just cheese nothing else and I'm more or less content eating it so that's pretty good if you think about it. This crazy cute kids meal car and you guys aren't making the most of this? Where's the condiments in this? The restaurant itself had zero people it in. I was wondering if I walked into a closed place. It's cute on the inside but the emptiness of it doesn't make you want to stay. The young ladies inside were polite but not attentive. In school still and doing homework on the counter. Which actually I thought was amazing these young women were pushing themselves to do so much but the hard part for me here? You have no customers. You have 4-5 employees. Why am I standing here waiting? That's a no for me. So in summary? Based on the kids burger I would totally be willing to try an adult burger sans oversalted fries. I wouldn't want to eat in with the sad dismal atmosphere. Make sure you have your own mustard and whatnots at home, they don't give you thing or offer you any. The girls are very sweet, I give them huge kudos for working while in school but....

A family ordered ice cream in a cone and the teen waiter grabbed it off of a wire shelf that was completely filthy. They were propped up against a trash can before the photo. The smell was terrible (Of the restaurant not the cone). This place used to be a great place but not anymore. By the way the person who wrote this complaint is not the person who ordered it but the one who was standing at the register when your entitled waitress was blabbering about it in front of the entire store. But she seems to be the focal point of a few of these complaints on here. She was making the whole thing seem like it was no big deal but I’m pretty sure that 96 rating would be considerably lower had the health inspector seen what we saw they would have been a little upset.

We hadn't eaten at a Hwy 55 in a couple of years but we remembered that they had good food reasonably priced so we decided to give this one a try. We were cordially greeted and seated on arrival. My wife ordered an Americana burger and I ordered a half cheese steak. My wife said her burger was great and I had forgotten how superb their cheese steaks were; t ruly the best cheese steak I have ever had. They only had 2 servers on duty and they were amazing. The really hustled like they were the owners and no detail was overlooked as they served the entire restaurant with an expertise that can only be described as amazing. Altogether, this was a great dining experience.

My husband and I just moved into the area and have been trying out nearby restaurants. We ate at hwy 55 in Mebane earlier this week and had such a great experience. The restaurant is really cute and has a charming atmosphere. The staff demonstrated excellent customer service and were extremely kind. The bacon burger and shake were of great quality. Best burger we’ve had in the area thus far. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

My husband and I ate here recently. Wow...That was the BEST burger I've had in a long time!! The onion rings are SOOOO good! Our waitress was amazing! So sweet and prompt...checking on us just the right amount. I definitely recommend this place!

Always a great experience at this location. Staff is always friendly and polite. Hadn't been in in a while until yesterday. Served by a wonderful young lady named Kaylynn. Would be nice to have her caliber of courtesy and attentiveness at all restaurants.
