DO NOT SIT DOWN AND EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!! Portions are half the size and the prices are almost double takeout. We got completely ripped off and left the restaurant hungry, 2 entrees and 3 appetizers later. Don’t even get me started on the “fun size” portion of white rice that was supposed to be for 2 adult entrees.. more like 2 spoonfuls for 1 child. Avoid at all costs or just get takeout.

"Superb Chinese Food" This pretty restaurant serves extraordinary tasty food. I have been twice at this restaurant this year. The first time was for my birthday and today was to say farewell to a recently promoted colleague. We all ordered different dishes from the menu. The dishes held nice portions which somehow were just perfect. While there, you will realize that the waiter always provide water and a nice ceramic kettle with hot tea, plus some crunchy fried kind of bread and two types of sauces. One seems to be mustard with wasabi ( I guess, because of the taste) and the other ones is sweet ( deadly good) All dishes we ordered were amazing and the bill was crazy affordable. Parking is on the back of the restaurant, but if you are lucky, you might find some parking spaces on the front of the building as well. Our waiter was pretty nice and helpful. By the way he uttered some phrases in Spanish, that was a Plus.

Service incredible, food superb. Nothing beats authentic Chinese food with a wonderful atmosphere.

Probably the best eat-in Chinese restaurant in Union County, NJ. Clean and well maintained. Not really wheelchair accessible, though (can come in through the back fire exit, I believe).

Great Chinese in the heart of Scotch Plains. The ingredients were the freshest I've had in Chinese food in a very long time. The hot and sour soup wasn't as hot spicy as I prefer but had a wonderful texture as a base. I ordered the shrimp with eggplant Szechuan style. Aside from my adding some of their homemade hot mustard, the dish was superb. I'll be back to try some more dishes!

I just stop first time to eat in this Chinese restaurant. As soon as arrived, the waitress didn't greating us. Took few minutes to take to sitting in the table then long time to take our order I was asking any suggestions for diet food She was not really friendly not either very especific giving details kind of food for diet. She mentioned " do you want steam" but not any specific meal as a suggestion. I responded "yes" and I selected a meal thinking it will be steam. It was a lot of soy sauce in a few broccolies and chicken. Meals was too much sauce and not having enough meat .... When I mentioned the waitress. She was not at all very nice instead she was arguing. I really didn't like the services in this place.

Haven’t ordered from here in bout 6 months. Otherwise a frequent customer. My family was disappointed in the food. The plain lo mein was dry. The chicken and broccoli sauce was as thick as glue. The beef Szechuan sauce was as thick as glue. A family meal for $78 and no one wanted leftovers. What happened?

This is one of the best Chinese "sit-down" or take-out Restaurants in the area ! Giving it a rare 5 Star review from me. They consistently have great tasting & typical dishes. Prepared fresh and in a very timely manner. The decor inside is a bit dated but always clean and it's a throwback to when people actually had time to sit down and eat. Speaking to that I highly recommend for Lunch or a nice decent dinner meal. It's well lit with a giant window. They offer all types of food and they have just about anything you can imagine. Staff is friendly and very efficient. Cons: - You can order online (the only knock about the system is there is no way to customize your order if you go this route) - The Parking here is tough to come by and you might have to park a little walk ways away. But it's not the worst thing I've seen - Closed on Mondays but I respect the fact that they give time off to staff and workers. Overall this is a very good place to eat and I highly recommend it. I forgot to mention the Prices are very fair for what you receive !
