Hudson Bread Cafe is a marvelous little upscale place for enjoying anything from a meal to a nosh. It is the embodiment of what a cafe should be: quiet, relaxing, cozy, and just a place one can go for a few minutes getaway from the hustle of things. It's located in XChange Plaza, just a few minutes walk from Secaucus Junction Train Station and Laurel Hill Park, which makes for quite the convenience of a location. The menu offers many options, from bakery goods, to salads, smoothies, wraps, and sandwiches. Their coffee is quite good too. Service is attentive, albeit sometimes there is a bit of a delay, but always pleasant. The prices are a bit higher than most other places, but the main draw for me is ultra laid back atmosphere. It's a bit off the path, but worth it. Also, pay cash and save.

Excellent Italian style cafe in Secaucus. Prices up to the market but sandwiches and salads are very creative and carefully crafted to give you authentic Italian taste. Place is located near exchange plaza of Secaucus at walking distance. Plenty of parking available. They also have outside sittings. Cafe was clean and from what I observed it was operated by womens. Limited by enough sitting space with a private room with a large table for bigger group, also they have personal sofa and chairs for individuals. I have seen people working while having lunch and I have seen office lunch. Great place and environment. Menu has good number of items, they had vegan/vegetarian options. Also they were selling dessert & fresh bread on side. I have tried the vegetarian sandwich, veggie humus wrap, portobello mushroom and garden salad. I loved them all, but if I had to pick one I would go with portobello mushroom, it has a unique taste. Menu items are highly customizable for adding or removing extra sub-items. They also have good beverages option, tried their vanilla chai latte with cinnamon sprinkling, it was good. Must visit place for healthy Italian food with comfort sittings and authentic taste!! Recently tried G wrap(replaced meat with feta cheese) and it was awesome. French fries are also delicious and freshly made.

The place is neat and clean. Food is good. But the service personnel had attitude for no reason. We went around 11am when there were no other customers, but still the person taking our order had this dry attitude - condescending look, as if we are not welcome there. Just ruined our experience.

My 9 dollar croissant sandwich was fully microwaved…my eggs looked like breast implants…the sandwich was flavorless and rubbery. Run away there’s much better breakfast place nearby where the food is actually cooked with a flame.

I love their food Japanese restaurant with a variety of dishes I enjoyed very much, two people $126, and I enjoyed a Japanese beer, tip included

I love this place.. Everyone is so nice, food is awesome. Congratulations you guys are great..

Place smells like dirty oil when you walk in. A bit of a turnoff for ordering food. The coffee was good. The workers need to be trained.

Ordered the Turkey Avocado and it looked and tasted delicious. Took about 4mins from ordering to being ready. However, also ordered a muffin... Took 8mins? Lastly, it was 10:30am. They don't serve breakfast after 11am... I initially asked for a breakfast item and they let me know "we are out of eggs"...?? I asked for just a side of bacon and, "we are out of bacon"...?!? So obviously they just shut down the breakfast line early. Service was pretty poor as well. 1/5 for service specifically. Literally the only thing that saved this from being a 1 star was the sandwich was actually good.
