Breakfast Menu "Huddle House" Royston

Terrible! We've eaten here before and never had a problem, but today, it was horrible! When we walked in most of the tables were filled except for about six maybe, three of them were unbussed. The table we sat at hadn't been wipe, just bussed. I asked the server to please wipe it, she turned and grabbed a rag, no apology, nothing. My husband suggested we leave if she was already that rude. When she was back I noticed her nametag said "General Manager"!! Wow! Then we made the mistake of ordering.... My husband ordered chili and a sandwich, they were fine. I just wanted a small omelette and a waffle. So I asked her if they could take a 2 egg breakfast and make the eggs and meat into an omelette? Wow, you'd thought I'd asked her to make a gourmet meal! She said she didn't think they could as their pan was meant for 4 eggs not 2. I asked her to ask the cook, she abruptly turned around and I saw her making (rude) hand gestures about me to him. I didn't care. I did get my 2 egg omelette, despite the impossibility, and my waffle. But we had to ask for syrup napkins and catch up. And my husband had to ask for a spoon for his chili! Both my waffle and my omelet could have been cooked another minute or two as they were barely done and both of them cold. They were edible but just not hot. But I would have preferred the cheese melted in the Omelette and the waffle golden not almost white. Back to the unbussed table, by the time we left there were 7 unbussed tables that no one was sitting, leaving only 2 or 3 plus the counter available. And no one was even making any attempt to try and render that situation. Summery: The place looked disgusting, the server/GM was rude and my food wasn't cooked long enough and cold. We were not happy customer today. If I could give negative 5 stars, I would!!

Food was great. The service was very slow. Philly steak omelette was fantastic would recommend. Do not go if you have a schedule to keep.

I hate having to give a poor review but to be totally honest the cook actually followed my food to the table and apologize for the appearance of my eggs and asked would I like for them to make them again I was very polite and said if they bothered you enough for you to ask then you probably should have remade them before bringing them to the table but I'm easy to get along with so I'll leave it up to you the second attempt was not any better but I accepted them graciously and said thank you. The food was not even normal Huddle House quality the waitress was disheveled and Scattered when I got ready to leave the cook apologized and said quote I apologize you'll have to try this again when things aren't so hectic. I looked around there was one other table with food and one table that had not ordered yet in the entire restaurant

By far the worst dining in experience I've ever had. There were only 5 other people in the building but it took the one waitress over ten minutes to ask us what we wanted to drink..once she finished talking to a regular n shooting the breeze. I finally get my coffee and the mug is dirty, with remains of someone's previous half assed coffee expierience still dried down the side. The waitress was very rude; forgetting our silverware and becoming snappy when we asked for our spoons as if she didn't wanna walk 6 feet to retrieve them. Overall, the cook isn't that great, and the staff presents themselves like the walking dead. This was the worst huddle house I've ever been to and I highly suggest you keep driving if you come across it. These people are the worst.

Can't wait for Hardee's to open, sat for a while finally got a drink and placed our order. Took forever to get our breakfast. When we got it it was cold as ice. Hash browns ordered scattered well extra crispy came barely cooked at all. The waitress was clearly the only one trying to do her job. I actually felt sorry for her..

I went 2 weeks ago.......4th of July weekend on a Saturday about 10:30....every table was dirty....my husband and I waited about 10 min for them to clean a table. They had 1 cook,1 other guy,and 1 waitress......on a Saturday morning!!! As we sat there the waitress was rude to the people behind us....it took them 10 min after we sat down for the couple behind us (that the waitress was rude to) to get his waffle while his wife's food got cold waiting on his waffle. 1 couple came in and turned around and walked out because there were no clean tables. There were only 3 other tables that had people sitting at them. 2 had already gotten their food by the time we walked in. So it's not like the cook was trying to cook 6 tickets at once. It was absolutely rediculous . I will not b going back their again.

The best service I’ve had from any Huddle House I’ve been to. Suzanne and Chelsea are some of the best host I’ve had. If you want great customer service come to the Huddle house. You won’t regret it !

Everyone from the 2 servers to the manager who was also the cook messed up. Forgotten silverware, took an hour and a half before we gave up with 2 people still with no food, out of BBQ, slow to refill drinks, ended up being given plastic to go silverware because nothing was clean. The 2 people people missing food had their food taken to the wrong table, and no replacement was made. They only offered to comp the drinks, which were coffee and water....
