Huddle House holds a special place in my heart due to its proximity to where I grew up, and it's a repository of cherished memories. The staff's warm and friendly demeanor, combined with the consistently delightful food, has never failed to create a welcoming atmosphere. This restaurant has been a reliable destination to sit down, relax, and savor a satisfying meal. Whether it's the comforting familiarity of their menu or the nostalgia that permeates the air, Huddle House has always been a fantastic spot to reminisce, enjoy good company, and create new memories over a delicious meal.
From my experience it's very hit or miss depending on who's cooking, but I guess that's the same with every huddle house right? sometimes I order and the food just hits the spot and sometimes I have to just toss it and order somewhere else. They constantly have a for hire sign though so I'm honestly wondering if it's not like many other establishments in cochran,GA where the cooks and alot of food handlers around here seem to have much less care on their standards of food quality than most other city's I visited. I wouldn't have a family gathering here or really anywhere in cochran. All the food here seems to be poison sometimes. Even convenient stores around here constantly have products that are a year or close out of date. . It's all of cochran tbh. Must be something in the water
To start with the service was bad, and food was not good at all I ordered a patty melt matpat email did not have onions or anything else, That was the worsted patty melt I have ever had . And everyone with me agreed .( P.S. the service was terrible. ).
Got there about 930 Waitress was rude Proceeded to count her drawer and ignore us. Never did approach our table. The cooks son asked us what we wanted to drink. I ordered coffee and a soda for my granddaughter. He comes back there's no coffee. I said I don't want anything. He brings the soda. I ask if we can still order, he says he'll check. Comes back says no, they are closing up for the night. So damn mad!! Why couldn't they just said that when we walked in?
Food was nasty, asked to be remade because it wasn’t good and when I did ask my waiter, she made a face and said she had to go ask “her boss” but when I called to make a complaint to the manager about a comment that was said.. she’s now saying she’s the manager.. service was terrible. Wouldn’t eat here if it was the last place on earth
Vickie cooked up a wonderful meal, and as always Mindy Sue was a delight.
I love love love the atmosphere and the food is always as I order it! Great place for friends to gather and have some good coffee !!
So as always I'm rating this compared to other Huddle House restaurants. Really a 3.5 but I rounded up. The new facelift is nice. I had a biscuit with chicken, bacon, cheese, a fried egg and white gravy on it. It was pretty good. I'd order it again. My hash browns had a slight under cooked raw potato flavor and my coffee cup sat empty for a good while. Our server was friendly when she came around.
