User Reviews

Food was decent. Wait staff is awful. If you are not a regular don’t go. The people that I assume are regulars the staff falls over them selves to take care of. 3 tables including mine. Take your order then bring food then nothing. No refills even have to stop someone to get a check to leave. Definitely don’t recommend. Just wait for your turn at Waffle House.

Waitress forgot to put in my order. I was 1 of 3 tables occupied in the entire restaurant. That was a slip I could deal with until they brought my order to my table. The country ham was undercooked. Warmed you might say. The scrambled eggs and hash browns were decent. My coffee was cold... problems with refills. The waitress never came back to my table to make sure everything was as it should be and neither did the head waitress. I told the manager that I would be happy to pay for the eggs and hash brown and toast but not the undercooked country ham. I explained that no one bothered to refill my coffee or check with me throughout my entire meal. He said...well she is new. I asked if the head waitress was new? He said no....so I asked why she didn't check since she was "training" a new girl? I had high hopes but now don't think I have a desire to go back. In response to the managers comment. He did remove the hamand coffee from my bill. He was very courteous and professional. I understand his issue with new waitress. The comments I previously made are of my experience. Yes...the waitress did apologize for the delay and I said that I could excuse that....it was everything after that....she nore her supervisor ever returned to check to see if my food was correct....nore did she refill my coffee.I was totally ignored. That's the service I received with very few customers in the building. I had no problem with paying for everything except the ham I took 1 bite from. I'm just giving an honest review of my experience at the Huddle House. Lack of training can cause problem. Don't try to excuse bad service with "new person".

For the most part, our experience was decent. My wife has an egg allergy. This is where the experience took a wrong turn. My wife will order egg whites (unless they're cage free) as they do not give a reaction. When the food came to us, my wife immediately said no to the yellow omelet, and the server took it back to the kitchen. We could overhear what the cook said. He had used EggBeaters. (Which are great if you want an egg substitute, for cholesterol control but not allergies) We never received a replacement, and when my wife stated she wouldn't pay for something we didn't get, the manager/cook came and said he had to use a whole carton of eggbeaters, and that we have to pay for some of that, and tried to argue about egg beaters being a viable replacement for egg whites, and said that Huddle House corporation had worked with EggBeaters and they were assured that Eggbeaters are only egg whites with coloring added, which is patently false. Our server Abigail was great, and the way the manager spoke to her in our presence was disappointing. He was rude and condescending and clearly an uneducated person. My food, I ordered over medium eggs that were clearly undercooked, and my bacon was overcooked as was the hashbrowns. I like a little crunch, but these were too hard to eat. And the manager was the cook. Suffice to say, we won't be back for a while.

We ate here today when I say this place is so racist like I just don't even get how the world is still like this I was the only black person in here with my black kids we sat down before any other white kids came in I seen the waitress walk to they table and give them color sheets and crayons she proceeded to look me and my kids in our face and walk back behind the desk and didn't never come back to even think about giving my kids a coloring sheets so after that my toast was brunt I didn't ask for them to recook it or nothing I told the lady who was our waiting she looking at the toast squinting her eyes and brought back cold butter never complained or nothing one black men walk in to order to go and from now on I will not dine in with this store no more there service was so horrible after I check out I seen that the other white kids had coloring sheets and crayons I will never eat here again so for my black people please observe everything these people do at this store it was sad to watch them do what they did and I ask the girl to put sweet tea in my cup on the way out she gave me unsweetened tea I didn't like nothing about none of these workers I will not be back

The cook was fully incompetant. Everyone around them was having to make up for his lack of competance. Food was getting out slow, and was either cold, burnt, or incorrect, this wasn't just our table, but almost every one else's. I'm not giving it a 1 star cuase the 1 waiter there was doing her best to keep up with everyone and was still polite.

It used to be a good place but they need new cooks and staff very rude and just a all out bad experience. I'd rather dive a few more miles and spend my money at waffle house

Good ole Southern cooking, made fresh right in front of your eyes. Staff was friendly and welcoming...one of those everybody knows your name places. Good omelets, grits and fried potatoes.

It's an older location so it's not super nice inside. The servers are usually friendly. The food is usually good. The service can be very slow.
