We had a great meal and good service. Restaurant was clean so where the bathrooms. Plenty of parking. Had private rooms for special events. Had a really good salad bar with Soups and desserts.

My family’s visit to this restaurant was nice and simple!! The food was good and my mother loved ham and bean soup along with the baked beans as well. I personally enjoyed the delicious chicken noodle soup! The noodle were handmade!! Deserts are nice and simple! Would recommend for a nice dinner on a weekday!

Unfortunately, I think they were short staffed in the kitchen. It took over 40 minutes to get 2 steaks. One was ok. 🤔 The other was overdone & dried out & no seasoning. Some parts by the bone were slightly pink. We ordered Med rare. The buttered soaked mushrooms were good. We marinated the dry steak in them & it greatly improved the steak!

We got rained out at Hersey Park and wanted to eat somewhere local near our hotel. We agreed on Hoss's and we are so glad we did! The steaks were fantastic. The Philly cheese steak was amazing. We also really enjoyed the salad and dessert bar. They had some great options and everything we ate tasted amazing! We will be back when we visit again!

The salad bar was not fresh, the food was warm at best and you could tell it had been sitting too long. I had to ask for new food to be brought out! My steak was prepared good but my other people it was mostly gristle. It appeared the assistant manager was too busy attending to her family and not over seeing her responsibilities. I won't be going back!

This is a great family restaurant with a huge salad bar that includes soups, breads, nachos, Mac and cheese, and a full dessert bar with cookies, cakes, pudding, and an ice cream soft serve machine with all the sundae toppings. it's all you can eat and well worth the price. I ordered kids meals but honestly the salad bar was enough for them. The atmosphere was messy and noisy but the staff was extremely attentive and kept refilling the items. My husband was initially disappointed that they ran out of the ribeye steak but he was happy getting the smaller steak smothered in mushrooms. He said it was cooked perfectly. I got the shrimp scampi and they were small and on the salty side. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get on the salad bar. Would return if I'm ever in the area again.

My wife said she was in the mood for a steak and baked potato so I looked around the area here at Hershey Pennsylvania and found a chain that I had never visited before. Hoss's steak and sea house is a would recommend stop if you are passing through the area and want some good food. The steak and baked potato were good and pretty much as I expected but the soup and salad bar is the stand out here. Normally the food you get on these bars are somewhere between paste and flavorless gruel. Nearly every item I tried was very tasty. I truly recommend the beefaroni and French onion soup and also the apple pie and make it à la mode! And don't get me wrong, the steak was delicious and juicy but that's just what I have come to expect from any steakhouse now. If you are in the mood for a steak definitely get it also. Safe journeys! 2023-2-15 I hadn't been here in a couple of years so I decided to come back cuz I remembered how good it was. It has gotten even better! The chili today was a would recommend plus. It was filled with big pieces of beef and was so delicious. I thought I would get the second bowl with some hot flakes sprinkle on top but it was so good just the way it came I didn't change it. Definitely in the top six chilies I've ever had and the best from any buffet ever. The Buffalo chicken soup was a would recommend. It was a little skimpy on the chicken but it had like macaroni and cheese mixed with buffalo flavoring and chicken added. It was great! And then came dessert. I noticed a pump jar of peanut butter and company peanut butter Sauce. I knew I had to get the ice cream and cover it. Then I added nuts and chocolate chips. Omg! Would recommend plus. Service was great and everybody was pleasant. I definitely have to recommend this place. I will be back in the area next week and guess where I'm going to go eat. I bet you guessed it. 🤗

So excited to see a Hosses still open in our area. Decided to try it. Although we were seated quickly, we were not waited on for at least 15 min. The restaurant was maybe half full with at least 3 wait staff and a man who could have been the manager. The waitress eventually acknowledged us and said she would be right with us. She asked the front hostess to get our drinks. We ordered drinks and they came quickly and hostess again told waitress would be right with us. I asked if we could go up to the salad bar because we were getting that with our entree. She said okay and she would tell our waitress. While eating our salad and waiting for the waitress, we noticed she was somewhat frazzled. There was another table whose steaks were delivered but were not cooked as ordered and had to be returned. They were upset because of how long they had waited for their dinners and now they weren't cooked right and needed to be returned. In addition, she had two other tables waiting for there food so she was going back and forth to kitchen to serve them. We were totally forgotten. We were done with our salads and waiting again for waitress to take our order. When she finally got to our table I questioned her whether we should even attempt to order an entree based on our observations of what seemed to be happening around us. She said that issue was under control. My husband ordered a steak and I ordered the fried fish. Our meals were delivered and my fish was broiled, not fried. So it had to be taken back. My husband was done with his meal when the fried fish was set in front of me by the manager. He walked away before I could ask for tartar sauce. So I waited for the waitress. My husband got a dessert. Waitress eventually came by our table without acknowledgement and took the order of the table behind us, and another table behind them. Because we still had 2 more errands to run and it was pushing 8 pm, I decided to not eat and have it put into a to go box. I got waitress attention as she was going by our table and said I was waiting to get some tartar sauce but it had taken so long for her to come to our table, that we needed to go and to get me a box. She did and also took payment for our check. Very very disappointed. The waitress was apologic during our stay but after awhile, even apologies seemed insincere. There was no indication that she was a new waitress. In fact, she seemed to be detached or indifferent to what was going on around her. The salad and dessert bar was nothing special. It was clean and stocked. Manager seemed to spend a lot of time in that area but would come into the table area to deliver any meals that needed to be returned to the kitchen by customers. We will not be returning to this restaurant, nor will we be recommending it.
