Breakfast Menu "Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar" Greenbelt

Mani is always kind and helpful when I come to this location. She’s always helpful and in a good mood! I’ll always stop by here or order to go when I have a taste for my fave shrimp boy or crab soup. Nice to have somewhere in the neighborhood if it’s kind service. The whole staff is kind. Wish I knew everyone’s names to thank them individually:)

We’ve been in couple place similar like this. So we have an idea what foods we want. Waitress, food and atmosphere was good especially my drink lol.

This is my first time visiting Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood. I will definitely come again. I would not do the Hook and Reel special blend seasoning in the boil. I would also order the crab soup again. Mo was our server and was the best. a great clean restaurant.

I was invited to dine this evening while celebrating a birthday. The young man just turned 13 years old today. It started out okay, we ordered drinks and our meal at the same time. The waitress didn’t come back to let us know how much longer our food would take to be brought out. I excused this action. Our food came and everyone was satisfied with their meals. My Seafood spaghetti marinara didn’t have parmesan though. The menu stated it should have come with it. Once we were finished our meals, the waitress brought the bill. She also said in a few minutes the staff would be coming back to sing “ Happy Birthday “. What happened to surprises? You only become a teenager once. I felt that she should have pulled one of the adults in my party to the side to tell us what was going to happen. We paid the bill and then someone else in our party said they would order another round of drinks. He paid for it separately. After 20 minutes of waiting, I got up and asked for the manager in the bar area. The manager asked if I wanted a refund or a credit toward a future dining experience. I explained that I probably would NOT be returning to this location as the service was extremely poor. And, it wasn’t busy for a Sunday around 4pm to begin with. The waitress decided to deliver our drinks after 26 minutes. By this time, we decided to leave and told them we no longer wanted the wine and beer. The manager did refund the additional bill for alcoholic beverages. Hook & Reel seems like an okay place for locals to have some seafood year round. However, they definitely need to brush up on their communication skills from a hospitality perspective. I live in Montgomery County, Maryland. I feel that all locations should operate the same and treat people with a VIP experience. Same state, totally different experience. Remember to make every plate Great! The waiter was nice and attentive so he gets two stars, but the food and drinks were not that good. I got a seafood boil and the sauce had a gravy consistency and not so much butter. I ended up taking it to go and added butter to the sauce and it was fine. The catfish had no taste whatsoever. Lastly, the margarita was TRASH.

The food was great! I went with my cousins and family members we had so much fun, we made jokes and laughed I highly recommend you come here! my kids loved it they drew on the table and laughed and tried to solve the crosswords and do tic-tac-toe it was really fun. I highly recommend it

My friends and I stopped in on Sunday evening after a movie. We had a great time; the waitress was very professional and attentive. Our food was delicious 😋. Our first time visiting Hook & Reel. I will be going back again. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Great job, Hook & Reel.

Date night was fun. 😁 Definitely a good place. The staff was very friendly. The only down side was they didn't have a real bartender on shift but she did her best.. I will definitely be back.
