Cool 'Hole in the Wall' place for coffee and snacks. Staff is cool and informative. I wouldn't say it's a must-see when traveling to KC, but it's definitely a good spot to stop after the farmer's market for a pick me up.
The staff was really kind and helpful. We had the iced Carmello and their seasonal s’mores mocha. The coffee was really sweet so if that’s what you enjoy both these drinks would be for you!
Excellent coffee, great customer service and stellar ambience. They have amazing art work and believe truly in serving the best quality of coffee and food. I recommend this coffee shop 10/10. A must-go if you are in the downtown Overland Park area. Bonus: They often have music nights on Friday and Saturday. What’s not to like about this treasure in the heart of OP!
Sweet atmosphere and staff with alternating features artists and great allergy friendly food options! I got the gluten free vegan quiche and strawberry basil kombucha. There’s also an extension that’s even quieter for readers and an outdoors section for those with pets.
We loved the coffee and the pastries they had. Especially the expresso brownie. Also the live music was a bonus :) Highly recommend this place if you like coffee and pastries.
Was hoping to find another speciality coffee shop but was quickly disappointed. The shop is somewhat inviting and has an area towards the front that is often cleared out to accommodate live music and the like. Ordered a breve, and it was awful. First of all, they don’t have the proper sizing for a breve, which should be equal parts espresso and half and half, but utilized the more typical sizing for a latte. Needless to say that the flavor profile was non-existent and was just a milky, creamy mess of a drink. They did have other things on the menu, non-coffee based, that would probably be better options.
It's quite busy during the morning, so you'll wanna bring head phones if you plan on doing focused work. The coffee is good and they make it fast. I didn't even have time to unpack before they called my order out. They have free wifi and don't severely cap the speeds either so you should be able to do meetings just fine if needed. I like the atmosphere of the place, and the seating is very plentiful
Ok, so I have had homers before but the other day I had a rather unfortunate experience. I stood up front for a couple minutes without having my order taken. No big deal at all, practicing a little patience is something I don’t mind. But there were two ladies standing next to the counter talking who I assumed were waiting for coffee. Turns out one of them was the barista and her manager had to come out from the back and ask her to get back to work. I get it, people make mistakes but still rather unfortunate. Also the coffee was not the best and lacked flavor. Don’t know if this was spite or just how their latte always is.
