Wow. Very pricey. I got a Big H, onion ring and root beer freeze. It was $20 + tip. Ya know what? I could have done much much better with the $20. Don't get me wrong. It was a great burger. Just not a $10 burger. The rings were good. But the coating does have a lot of oil. Now. The Root Beer freeze is pretty amazing and unique. They get a star for that. All in all? I won't go out of my way to go back, but might stop if I am driving by. It is not a bargain.

Hires Big H, a renowned restaurant, left me thoroughly impressed with their mouthwatering Double H Burger. From the first bite to the last, it was evident that this burger was a true delight for burger enthusiasts. The Double H Burger at Hires Big H was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. The burger featured two juicy and perfectly grilled beef patties, stacked high and adorned with a variety of delectable toppings. The melted cheese added a creamy and savory element, while the fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions provided a refreshing crunch. The sesame seed bun held everything together, adding a delightful touch of sweetness. What set this burger apart was the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in its preparation. The beef patties were flavorful and cooked to perfection, showcasing the expertise of the grill masters at Hires Big H. The combination of the toppings created a symphony of flavors that complemented each other harmoniously. The service at Hires Big H was friendly and efficient, with the staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for enjoying a satisfying burger. Whether you're a fan of classic burgers or looking to indulge in a gourmet creation, the Double H Burger at Hires Big H is a must-try. Its delicious flavors, generous portion size, and exceptional quality make it a standout option for burger lovers. Prepare your taste buds for a delightful culinary experience that will leave you craving another bite.

It’s an amazing experience to dine at Hires. Good burgers and delicious onion rings. Service was great along with a clean restaurant.

This place has very delicious food. It is pricey, but it is delicious. Their onion rings are some of my favorite I have ever had. Their burgers are great. Their root beer is unique and it's fun getting it in a cold mug and not even needing ice! The fries were good and their fry sauce is my second favorite in the state. You can definitely tell that everything is made fresh, even though that means there is typically quite a wait. I was, however, pleasantly surprised how fast the service was this visit.

Hires has been a staple fast food joint in my family for decades. The food was great! Service was fast and friendly. The root beer and cheese fries were favorites. It's definitely worth the stop. If you have a lot of dietary restrictions, you will have trouble finding something to eat. Look at the menu online before coming.

Tastes exactly like Wendy’s, so it’s actually decently good. Even the burger patties are square. Why 2 stars? Because it’s literally 2-3 times more expensive than a fast food place like Wendy’s, and it’s not at all a premium burger place. You’re talking $16-19 for a combo. Ridiculous. I’ll never be back again. If I want Wendy’s, I’ll go to Wendy’s

Don't get me wrong, they have great messy burgers, but I was in the mood for a patty melt. Reviews stated how great they were. Well for me, it wasn't the case. It was way too sweet. Sweet onions, bread didn't taste like rye. Wife got a grilled Ruben without any Sauerkraut. Won't order that again.

We went to Hires Big H for a late lunch yesterday and we were very happy with the service and our meal. We both ordered Big H Jr. burgers with American Cheese. We ordered in a combo meal, one with fries and one with onion rings. My husband thought the onion rings were delicious, cooked perfectly. We had root beer freezes to drink, so yummy. I think this place is over looked and deserves a chance, you won’t be sorry.
