First, let me start by saying I come from a very tall family, mother being well over 6 feet. My family and I came to this establishment after my 10 year old nephews football game who was pretty bummed about losing so we took him out to eat to make him feel better. As soon as we came in they asked my nephew and my nieces ages, who are also very tall and only 8 & 9. The workers seem very shocked but still wrote down their ages and proceeded to walk us to our tables. When we’re almost done with our meals, they come over and start saying that the manager wants to see how tall my nephew is and is arguing that he is not 10 years old which is very disrespectful and unprofessional and I even told them to look at how tall my mother is. At that moment is when we found out that they have a rule that you have to be 7-10 to be considered a child AND under 5 feet which I feel is VERY DISCRIMINATORY. Will never come back.
This buffet is amazing. Especially on weekdays, the lunch is only 10.99 and is delicious. The food is fresh and hot. The food areas are always clean and well lit. The servers are attentive and kind. My personal favorite dishes are the Black Pepper chicken and the fried chicken wings. I also enjoy the green beans. Whenever I’m in town I always make it a point to stop here!
Hi, diner was great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. With the end of the pandemic, most buffets have deteriorated very badly, both in terms of the quality of the products from which the dishes are prepared, and in the variety of dishes. I even thought that this type of establishment would soon disappear or never rise to its former level. Therefore, when my sister invited me to dine at Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet, I was surprised that everything was very tasty there, the food was for every preference, everything was cooked from quality products. When I will visit Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet next time, I will do more photos. I recommended it to all my friends and acquaintances. Many thanks to the owners of Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet for keeping their buffet up to the mark.
I recently visited the hibachi buffet and overall had a good experience. The selection of food was extensive and included a variety hibachi grill options, and traditional dishes. The hibachi chefs cooked the food to perfection. I would definitely recommend this hibachi buffet to anyone looking for a tasty dining experience.
We came here for Father's Day celebration. It seems a lot of people had the same idea because it got busy and crowded very fast shortly after we arrived. This is always a good sign since it typically means the food is fresher due to turnover. Service was very good. There was a large variety of food to choose from ranging from American, Chinese, Japanese. The sushi tasted fresh and the hibachi station was the best. They are able to tailor the sauce/saltiness level to your liking. The fruits were not very sweet but plenty of other desserts to choose from. I was hoping they would have soft serve ice cream but nope.
This place has a lot of options(japanese,chinese,American). Food is also quite good. We often go for dinner buffet which costs us $37.92 USD for 2 adults. BUT when comes to tipping the waitresses, it always seems like we are bound to tip them $20 or even more! After paying the bill they kind of give you the attacking look on how much you’re tipping them, they don’t leave the place until you tip them. When you’re done and they look at the tip amount OH BOY !! They immediately start blabbering in their own language, even they call themselves to talk about it. You can definitely tell they’re not happily talking to each other. My point is we are not bound to tip them 50% of our bill, everyone goes there to EAT not to make them happy! Only for their behaviour we don’t feel like going there anymore. It used to be one of out top restaurants to dine in. Anyways, as per food this place deserves 8/10 . But for the overall waitress experience 2/10 .
The food is good for what it is. Good value. However, I’m writing this review because of the staff. They were outstanding. I had three separate waitresses asked me to refill my water. Table was cleaned right away. And I did not have to wait for the check. They were all very friendly, greeted me and thanked me. That’s not the case with some other buffets.
I can honestly say this is one of the best buffets in NJ. Especially considering price and quality of the food, it is a very good value for sure. Servers are super nice and very quick. Food quality is good, so much variety of the food also makes it great. Usually buffets don't have great sweets but their cakes and ice creams were also very delicious. Overall I would definitely recommend this. It is very popular and might be crowded so if you want to avoid crowd make sure to go early.
