Flash back to the past with this 50s themed cafe! Enjoy nostalgia from Elvis and Marilyn Monroe to classic movie decor while you listen to old school tunes. Family friendly, great food and service! Whether you want a home made meal or classic favorites, Happy Days Cafe is a great place to go!!!

Absolutely awesome place and food....the decor alone grabbed my attention...then the server topped it off she was just the cutest sweetest lady ever.... food could of sucked and between her and the atmosphere I was in love but the food was amazing...literally walked out floating!!!!

Fantastic experience. Good, quiet atmosphere and loved the oldies music inside. We ate our food outside since it was so nice. The food was amazing. Both me and my fiance loved the handmade ranch. I also quite enjoyed my cherry shake. Ojr waitress was the absolute bomb! We will most definitely be back. Good price for all the food we ended up getting.

Nice concept, interesting menu, lousy service. Placed an online order, arrived 10 minutes early, waited at counter while a woman mopped the floor, went to the kitchen, came back out, served a guy some ice cream and finally asked me if I had placed an order. She handled me a bag that was sitting there the whole time. Food was okay, but grilled Ruben was barely toasted, burger was room temperature, desserts looked delicious. Do not recommend carryout from this restaurant.

I like diner food. This place has it for sure! The fries are crinkle cut and the sweet tea is so sweet you can chew it (which is good)! I had a pimento cheese burger with a fried green tomato. The difference with the tomato being fried and green was it was more stiff than a red tomato. So, the bites had more consistency with all the parts, which makes me happy with a burger (not getting all bun or all tomato, etc.) The restaurant had old movie posters which were cool nostalgia. They had outdoor seating too, which South Charleston downtown is really kept up with. To sum, great diner food!

The service here is awesome. The ladies were great. The food is not bad but I feel like for the price it could be a little bit better. I absolutely love the banana pudding ice cream! I could eat it by the gallon. The atmosphere is not horrible either. It's just a little dark. It seems kind of cave-like. In all, it's not a bad place to eat, just a little on the pricey side.

Went in to order lunch. Owner, large loud guy, was there and speaking aggressively about the laziness of his workers and berating a young woman. I wouldn’t speak to my dog like that. We sat down and ordered, willing to give the food a chance. The fries were cold and greasy. The burger was fatty and the lettuce was wilted.

Heard good things about this place, so I stopped by with my uncle. Got their bacon cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks themselves were great, but the marinara sauce to dip them in was abysmal. The burger was excellent though, in every aspect. I give this place a solid A, and definitely recommend stopping by!
