Very good quality Nepali food, I was shown here by someone from Nepal. Strongly recommend the Thali, you will be 100% full. If not, I believe you can get more rice and vegetarian side dishes to your hearts content. This place has the best dal and best pickles(you get several kinds). I cannot wait to go back

The momos are delicate, fragrant, and worth coming back for. I wouldn't say that about anything else, though. I got a side of spiced potatoes to go, and they reheated the potatoes by microwaving them in the plastic takeout container. It's fine for an unpretentious place, but perhaps not something that deserves merit.

The momos they serve are delicious. The overall experience tho, was horrendous. I was never offered a napkin and the food arrived at my table along with two flies. The serves never showed up when I had to pay the bills. I would rather order food for delivery but aint going back in there.

If you love to eat Nepalese's typical foods, it can be the best place for you❣️❣️... I just had jhol Momo, rhildok and thali with my friends and we enjoyed it a lot... 🙏🏻🙏🏻....

30 min wait for a thali that looked like this place was doing thali for the first time! Just rice, dal, chicken, Aloo Gobi and some wierd chatni. Everything tasted bland. A refill of rice and daal took another 10 minutes! Would recommend people to go to other Nepali restaurants to have thali. Apparently this place is good for momos, I didn't try momos though.

Decent Nepali food at reasonable price. I like the momo/dumplings they serve more than others that I have tasted in Jackson Heights so far. Tourists: Cash only - bummer.

ZERO star restaurant. STAY AWAY!!! We bought food from this restaurant as take out on Friday night and didn't realize till we got home that the food was completely spoiled. It was so disgusting we spit it out on the first taste. The aloo achar was rancid. The 10 pieces of shel roti were rock hard and inedible. When we went back with the spoiled food to complain, the staff first tried to blame it on someone else saying that he doesn't make the food, it's the "Mexican" guy who makes the food. I corrected him that HE was the one who served the food and regardless of who made the food he shouldn't be selling OLD, spoiled food. Then later he said it was a hot day and their food sits outside all day, so it must have gone bad! As for the shel roti, it must have been a few days old. The owner acknowledged that the food had gone bad and it was wrong for his staff to serve food that was spoiled, and refunded us. However this is an unhygienic and unsafe place to eat, and completely ridiculous way to run a restaurant!

There are other spots for Nepalese food in Jackson Heights, but Bhim's Cafe has my favorite chicken momos (dumplings). An order of momos / dumplings costs $5. If you are placing a to-go order, be sure to call ahead. Each order takes about 10 minutes to prepare.
