Breakfast Menu "Guerrero Maya" South Portland

We are in Maine for the first time and we’re craving Mexican Food. I know, it should have been lobster, but all we wanted was Mexican. We found this restaurant nearby and are so happy we did! Service was great. Food was DELICIOUS!! My son is a picky eater and he said his quesadilla was the best he’d ever had. Yay! We would frequent this if it were closer to home.

One of my favorite places to go for dinner. Table side guacamole is a must, and I love that you can get the margaritas in 3 different sizes, and so many delicious flavors.

Coming from a Causacian Maine-raised person, this is the most authentic Mexican food I've had. Anything I've gotten has been delicious, and worth the price. Their portions are huge!! Bring an appetite or prepare to take home leftovers ;) Their staff is also very kind and welcoming. Antonio was our waiter today and he is very attentive and has a great personality! They all do an amazing job. Definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area!

Food 4/5: Enchiladas Verde were awesome. My personal take is that the best authentic mexican is perfected sauces. Also stellar chips and salsa with each meal. Service 5/5: Smiles, respect, manners, suggestions. Top notch service. Price 4/5: Full entrees could be a buck or two cheaper. No happy hours specials. I still feel like the portions & pours were healthy. Atmosphere 2/5: Bathrooms need a little attention. Debris in the parking lot in front of the entrance. Inside theres this Gatorade jug at the bar? Snow shovels in may at the entrance? But the inside astetic is amazing. True Authentic mexican vibe. 15/20= almost 4 Far better than El Rodeo close by. Authentic Mexican cuisine.

The table side guacamole is the real deal! Really made table side and SO delicious!!! Service was excellent, very attentive while also low key. We’ll definitely be back.

This is some of the most authentic Mexican Food I have found in Maine. There is nothing fancy to it, but just hood, homemade Mexican food. It is delicious, simple, quick and filling. Their house margarita is somewhat sugary, but still delicious. I would recommend getting a small or two— more bang for your buck. The food servings are HUGE! Parking is plentiful and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I cannot wait to go back!

I originate from the border of Mexico, and I often have a hard time finding real authentic food up here. This was hand down the best I've had in Maine. Not only was the food good, the service was excellent also! 10/10 highly recommend. I'll be going back as often as I can
