Food is okay, had a buffet style for a work event. Was still better than expected. Great food for the event.
Our waitress was not very good at her job. Our drinks came out one by one every five minutes until there was four drinks on the table. One being only water. There was four of us and we ordered three appetizers between the four of us. We only received two appetizers. The first appetizers was good. The second appetizers was mozzarella sticks. They were not cooked and did not get eaten. When the waitress asked what was wrong she was told they were not cooked. All she said was sorry and took them away. Two chicken tender entrees were order. Yet again not edible. One order of chicken and broccoli Alfredo was ordered. It was cold. The haddock entree was ordered not as bad as the rest but it still was bad. All the waitress said was sorry throughout our meal. Nothing was taking off the bill. We split the check and even that was screwed up. Our orders were on different bills. It was like playing mic and match game. You have lost four costumers and word of mouth does eventually hurt a business. Best of luck to ya. Not a place I would recommend.
Wow, you have to try the bbq chicken Flatbread pizza with crispy onion rings on top, nice and thin crispy flatbread...it was really good..and you will defiantly want extra napkins. The staff provided excellent service , made great suggestions and throughly explained the menu options. Great beer selection also.I am truly looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for a family friendly fun and inviting atmosphere. You can even have your food served in the bowling center if you want to watch a game while you eat. Will be back soon. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu.
We told the waitress we had a party of 5, it was early evening and not busy yet with plenty of 6 top tables available. But she sat us in a booth for 4, and didn't offer a chair at the end or anything. We ordered the poutine and nachos for apps, the poutine was quite good with an herb filled gravy, the nachos were mediocre, with the fresh jalapeños being the star. Water with lemon...had to ask 3 times for the lemon. Chicken Caesar salad arrived no chicken, Received our other meals, the burgers were decent, one cooked correctly the other over cooked, the buns were nice. Cole slaw was too largely chopped and had zero flavor, mostly just tasted of mayo. One of us asked for a side of broccoli and cole slaw but rec'd 2 sides of slaw. 🤦♀️ The haddock was a bit overcooked and again had to ask twice for lemon for it and was finally given 2 tiny sad wedges. We really wanted to give this place another chance but were disappointed again.
Went tonight, wasn't very busy. Ordered an appetizer and sandwiches. About 45 minutes later, our mozzarella sticks came out - they were terrible, not hot at all and obviously were microwaved. Realizing the larger party that was there before us still hadn't been served their food, we canceled the rest of our order. Still paid $20 for awful mozzarella sticks and a couple of sodas. If you are thinking if trying this place, don't waste your time. Not worth it. Only good thing was our server who we felt sorry for. Hope she gets a job someplace better. Will never go back or recommend. Two stars is because of our server only. In reading these reviews the good ones have to be from friends and family. . .
I ordered doordash from ground round 2 days in a row and was extremely disappointed both days.. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and pretzel sticks the 1st day and they were both disgusting. The pretzel sticks were wet and slimy when they got to me and the quesadilla was falling apart. Today I ordered the grilled chicken salad with cranberries and candied walnuts. When I opened the Box it looked like the container had been shaken vigorously. The description on the menu says that all of my greens would be tossed in Italian dressing. Not the case at all. There was absolutely no dressing, the chicken is basically burnt and cannot even be swallowed as it is so dried out, there is so much Gorgonzola cheese on here that the whole Box smells like dirty feet. I definitely will not be ordering from ground round Again anytime soon.
I’m not one to complain but I decided to go here for my birthday. Food was absolutely horrible. We had 6 plates messed up. 5 people were eating.. Also waited 40-50 minutes for food. Two simple pizzas that weren’t even cooked and one didn’t have the other topping. It tasted like water when biting into the pizza. We ordered a large wing and only got not even 6 small pieces that coasted over $20.. The chicken was over cooked. One of the chicken sandwiches wasn’t even made right and was slapped together with store bought sandwich meat. All of the sauces were watered down. We went bowling after and we were talking about what happened. One of the workers actually had asked us what happened now because this isn’t the first time. It’s happened several times. We were still charge almost $70 for 2/3 plates that we didn’t even touch. Never again.
What great food and the bowling ally is just swell!!
