Another great visit to this restaurant. All tables get the house salsa and homemade chips. Worth the trip just for the chips. Crispy and oh so good tasting. The soup and appetizer are huge and could feed more than one easily. The chimichanga did not disappoint, plenty of meat. The shrimp tacos were the only thing if I had to ding just a bit. Pickled onions on top were a bit much and I removed most of them. The chunks of avocado instead of guacamole made the taco a challenge to bite in to but the shrimp and mango salsa made the tacos worth the slight inconvenience. Seated immediately and the waitress was charming even though she gave us the wrong bill when we cashed out the first time.

I've dined at Gringo Jack's in the past, and was always disappointed with the food and service. So, why go back tonight? My in town favorite, Ye Olde Tavern, was completely booked solid, while Gringo Jack's had plenty of available seating. My server, Jack (not Gringo) was actually excellent, with sensible recommendations if not a bit of upselling. The beef chimichanga was actually excellent, too, as was Jack's suggestion for the beer on tap. So, why 4 stars and not 5? A pesky 3.5% fee for using a credit card! Cmon, you're gonna upset an otherwise rave review and multiple recommendations for a lousy buck-twenty-five. Nonetheless, waiter Jack and really good food made me like Gringo Jack's again. Recommended.

A friend and I took a Sunday road trip to Vermont and decided to have lunch here; her 2nd time and my first. We chose inside seating, but there is also an outdoor option for nice weather days. I loved the decor as well as the seating (very comfortable for a leisurely hour lunch). For any sports-watchers, there is also a TV that was showing the Sunday game. Our server was friendly and welcoming and there was a nice gentleman circulating regularly for water refills. Chips and salsa (free!) arrived pretty much as soon as we were seated. Homemade, warm chips and definitely house-made salsa that had just a bit of heat. We each ordered a starter and an entree. My watermelong gazpacho soup was light and a little sweet. First time I have had gazpacho made like this and I would order it again. My friend chose the black bean dip; more of those awesome chips and a cheesy, yummy bean dip to scoop up. (I definitely sampled hers.) We both ordered specials of the day. She tried the Pollo empanadas. I didn't try them myself, but she pronounced them creamy and delicious. I ordered the birria tacos; this has become my newest obsession, and I love trying them any chance I get. First, this was a HUGE entree - 3 truly stuffed tacos! These were some of the best I have had anywhere. The shredded beef was tender and juicy, and the pickled onion was a perfect accompaniment. I asked for charto beans and rice for my side abd they were also delicious. Highly recommend stopping here!

Seemed like a good place to stop with outdoor seating. It was a bit crowded, and indoor seating was available, but we opted to wait for an outdoor table ... we had to wait a little over 5 minutes, so not too bad. The Chicken Quesadilla appetizer was very good, but a bit overpriced. The same can be said for the entrées - baja tacos (3) $24, traditional enchiladas (2) $23 and special brisket tacos (3) $24(?). Margaritas were smaller than expected but reasonably priced. The service was ok considering how crowded it was, but I never got my lemonade, which I requested before entrées came out. When I told the server, she shrugged it off and then did NOT remove it from my bill ... so I took it from her tip. One appetizer, 3 entrées, 2 alcoholic drinks, and 1 virgin drink = $130 before tip. Be warned it is a pet friendly place if eating outside. There were at least half dozen tables with dogs ... which were mostly well behaved.

I was in town for 4 days of hiking. The food was so good, I had dinner there the rest of my time in Manchester (3 straight days!). Their fajita bowl is absolutely brilliant. Also tried their pulled pork plate and the beef chimichanga. They get extra credit for having Rescue Club IPA (NA).

First off the place looks nice and the staff was nice, but the food was edible not the best definitely not 20 plus dollars a plate. Also the “Jumbo” wings were the tiniest wings I have ever seen how are you allowed to call them jumbo? that’s a crime for 16 dollars. Also they tax you at 10%, then hit you with a card fee and automatically hit you with a 18% gratuity it made 62 dollars into 82 and I took the food to go I did not even sit inside like come on that’s insane. Total rip-off

My eyes were a little bigger than my stomach, but I enjoyed every bite before I boxed up the rest to take home. The guacamole for two was large and had just the right amount of bite. Wings were great and so was my wife's quesadilla.

Great Mexican food in Manchester! We arrived and took note of the signs recommending that folks call to make a reservation, and they fit us right in. Tonight we dined outside and had great service from Wendy. The food and drinks tasted great! We have also dined inside during past visits, enjoying their wonderful atmosphere. Be sure to stop by when you are in town.
