Greenology located at 96 Main St. new Canaan Connecticut. It’s not always easy finding vegan food with a large variety of gluten-free options as well, but that’s just what I found at Greenology located in new Canaan Connecticut. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Elena at the front of the restaurant, with a pleasant smile. I must’ve asked her does a dozen questions, and she was so extremely helpful never making me feel as though I was burdening her. A great asset to the business!! As far as the food, we had two pizzas, macaroni and cheese, A breakfast Casada. And a few pastries.😂we took a bunch home.
I had the Curry in a Hurry. They were kind enough to make it without onions. I enjoyed the coconut flavor of the brown rice. I also had the Berrylicious which tasted great.
It was my first time in the area, and found Greenology. First, the quality of the food was excellent, and the flavor was on point. I like that everything is organic. I asked if everything is vegan and was told yes, then I saw their acai bowls have honey and bee pollen, so aside from this, everything is supposed to be of plant origin. They took time to check products for food allergies which were appreciated. What appeared to be a manager was talking to us, answering questions, yet he became distracted mid-convo and didn't hear us trying to get his attention many times. The tables were a bit dirty, and no one came out to clean them the approx 1.5hr we were there. Seem slightly understaffed. I found the desserts and empanadas to be too pricey for their size in comparison to other establishments. Nevertheless, because of the patience for taking our order and the quality of the food, loved it. I probably would knock off a star if it didn't detract from this fact but appreciate their existence and hope to come back to try more items.
As a vegan, I am SO appreciative that New Canaan has 1 entirely vegan restaurant-Greenology! Today I had the Macro Bowl, which was absolutely delicious and satisfying! You can feel in your cells, how these foods are making you healthier, and the bonus is we are supporting the environment too!
I hate long wait times, bad food and bad attitudes. None of these exist at Greenology. None. Had the Berrylicious, AB and B, Avocado Toast and coffee. All delicious, all super healthy options in a town where a whole bunch of non healthy options thrive. Love the staff there!
I tried a few of their items already, the black bean burger, margherita pizza, and jackfruit tacos. Everything is really good and doesn't make you feel bloated or sick afterwards. I am not vegan or vegetarian but I prefer to come here fo my lunch, because even though its a little pricey, every other place in the town is pricey too, but here you get tasty food that's good for you :)
Looks nice place where is noise but noise is nice and cool music and nice interior all and for this be great so you can take your friends and come here for chilling and eat delicious great fresh food 😋
Unbelievable food! The plant burger was one of the best veggie burgers I have ever eaten. It was unreal and my meat eating boyfriend wanted more than one bite. The sweet potato fries w beet root "ketchup" were also divine and my green smoothie was perfect. 10 out of 10! The ingredients were so fresh and I'm going back for another smoothie before I head back to NJ!
