What a gem! Immediately welcomed with a smile (Robin), and made to feel right at home. This is a family owned Mediterranean restaurant- everything made fresh daily. Please do yourself a huge favor and order the lentil soup! Do ask to meet the mom, Hala (spelling), who prepares the food by hand. She is a lovely warm hearted woman. Overall a must try restaurant! We will be back 💯
I've been looking for a good gyro restaurant on the west side and SO happy I found this place. I ordered the gyro pita combo and it did not disappoint. exactly what I was craving and their garlic sauce is fire! my new favorite place. Thank you for a great experience and being so kind!
This place should be busier!! Small business, the service was amazing, spent barely a couple of minutes waiting for the food. Tried the gyros and the hummus as well as my partner tried the spartan fighter, all tasted great. Fries weren’t my taste personally but everything else was phenomenal. The owner was also super nice and (as someone with chronic stomach issues) the food didn’t leave me with stomach pain. 10/10 will be back!
These guys are amazing! I usually get great service anyways from Greek restaurants I visit, but these guys are super friendly and can hold a nice conversation which helps feel like at home instantly. The food is fantastic as well, had to get a to go order after the main. It's also nice having a place actually give us true lamb meat as well! 5 🌟 definitely deserved here for their awesome efforts of hard work with a side of friendliness. Will definitely be coming back!
Admittedly, I did not have high expectations when I stopped in for a bite to eat as some of the older reviews were mixed and I have had Mediterranean food all over the valley (and the world for that matter). However, Great Papa's Gyros is under new (family-owned) ownership and this has to be the best Mediterranean food I've ever had! From the Shwarma to the Kabobs and the Dolmas, everything is so well seasoned and flavorful it is truly next level! Whatever you do, don't forget the homemade Baklava for dessert! PRO TIP: call and place your order ahead if you are in a rush. Everything here is made with love from scratch and takes time (but is well worth the wait). Don't miss this gem.
Came in after 4 on a Sunday not very busy and a very casual conversation with the clerk and besides the food being on the pricey side it is well worth it and great portions the sides and drinks are great as well would come again.
I am unimaginably happy me and my aunt decided to stop by and have ourselves some of this delicious and mouthwatering food. Their food is by far, one of the best foods I’ve ever had. The place is also incredibly clean. I’d also love to mention the lovely two ladies working, Jana and Halla. They were downright amazing human beings and absolutely deserve every tip they can get! Thank you both for making me and my aunts first impression an amazing one. We will be coming back regularly. ☺️💕
This place is amazing. The owner and his brother make you feel at home they are very nice and courteous! The food is exquisite! I couldn't decide on a plate, so I ordered 2 the Gyro sandwich and the beef kabob plate and boy, they both were amazing!! The pita bread was fresh, and the beef was nice and tender. Let's not mention a good portion, too! Let's talk dessert it was awesome!! The Baklava was delicious. I am not a fan of hummus, but my husband likes it, and he really loved the one they serve! We will definitely be coming back!
