I wanted to try this place because I saw people from other states were coming to visit. I couldn't believe that they only do take out because nothing on their website stated that. Nevertheless, we decided to order since we were in the area. The pick up took so long and we weren't sure why since we came way after the estimated ready time. I regretted ordering the long Island iced tea. There was no soda and they put way too much iced tea that you couldn't really taste the alcohol. Never again. We ordered chicken & waffles, blackened catfish, fried trout, shrimp and grits, peach & bourbon wings, mac & cheese, bread pudding, and brown sugar sweet tea. Most of the food was really good. The peach and bourbon wings were so good. However, we were supposed to get 15 but only got 10. The catfish was so small compared to the amount of trout we received. The brown sugar tea was way too sweet for me but my son liked it. The shrimp and grits stole the show. It was so rich and creamy. It was so much that we ate the rest the next day. The collard greens and mac and cheese were good too. The bread pudding was disappointing. It didn't taste fresh at all. In all, we will definitely come back for the wings and try some other items.

I ordered a fish and chips lunch special for myself, a crispy Cajun chicken sandwich for my husband, and a side of fried potatoes for us to share and everything tasted great! Each meal came with a heart shaped corn bread muffin that tasted really good and was moist. We also got the lemonade and sweet tea which were great. Our only complaint was that some of the fish still had bones it. That was off putting. But honestly the food was great otherwise!

I give this establishment 4 stars because the customer service was amazing and just enough to have me come back if I’m ever in the area again. The chicken lacked a little bit of flavor. The Mac and cheese was seasoned very nicely. The canned yams yeah were good! The sweet tea was just enough sweet.

Friendly staff. Food is delicious and made to order! No dine in option available thou. Found this gem on a list of best restaurants in Owning Mill, and was rank #2. I see why! Trout was crazy good!!

I am very funny about my food and where I go but I have been coming here for quite a few years and they never disappoint! I appreciate the customer service the kindness of the staff always respectful and polite. Food always fresh and they actually care about what they serve you! That is very hard to find in this economy. I come from very afar just to get their food because I trust them so much! I tell everybody I know about them my family always ask when I visit to bring them a plate from Granny’s 💜 They will always be my fave…Yall know who this is please keep up the great work and service. So this past Saturday while attending a dance vendor convention we found Granny's via google. Let me tell you something about not only the manager but the employees! A regular customer was leaving and I asked him how was the food at granny's and he assured me it would be the best. Well baby he wasn't lying. Talk about a positive, glowing, vibrant and welcoming spirit in that place! Kalia, Destiny, and the manager Kimberly were so amazing! The environment gave a welcoming family reunion vibe (but mind you I've never met these amazing queens before) We grabbed a crab cake and fries, French toast, bacon, pound cake, Oreo cheesecake, and Anna mae's tea, and grandma's mix (I think it was called). Yes we were hungry don't just us! Everything was bomb! I would definitely drive an hour just to get that same customer service and impeccable food. Thank you ladies for such a memorable experience! Below you'll see my crab cake, fries, and that delicious Oreo cheesecake (I had forgot to grab a pic before I dug in)

Omg, a keeper. I loved the theme and the service. Despite not having accommodations of indoor seating or a bathroom; fortunately the patio area was a nice addition. The food was out of this world. Well seasoned and generous portions. Presentation is everything. I'll go back and why not, when you can add crabmeat to everything!

Wings were amazing, mac and mash and carfish were good. The greens were seasoned with some kind of peppers (not my taste) dining partner enjoyed them though. Our server was about 79% attentive and did greet us but his name was learned when he introduced himself to a nearby table. Atmosphere is very chill reminds me of a church dining hall but very cozy.
