This is a nice place to stop and have a beer. It has a really cool atmosphere and service was great. They have a huge variety of draft beer.

I was really excited to try this place but unfortunately it disappointed. I got the curry poutine and it was okay. Really basic, nothing really exciting about it. My friend got the chicken sandwich and it was bad, the chicken was so tough. The waiter was really attentive, I think their name is Josh

Went here one day after work on the weekends. Want to busy so we were able to get right in. The service was good, our waitress was on top of it! It was a e re saying day so I’m glad I brought my umbrella, as you know downtown parking can be horrible.. A few of my friends have been here and told me it was really good. It did not upset but there is so much competition downtown I don’t know for often I’d go here compared to a few of the other places. I’d 100% recommend if you’ve never been though.

Friends from Boston came to visit , it was St. Patrick's Day on a Friday and they already ran out of fish and chips before 1700...Ohh, But didn't stop us from enjoying the other selections , atmosphere and drink. Beautiful building, server was Awesome even while running up and down those stairs. Great Music selection. Drop Kick Murphy's on St. Patrick's Day 🍀 🌈 thank you for the fast service never had to wonder if our order was coming. I took her photo but promised not to post it on social media... Thank you!!!

This is a great pub in a gorgeous historical building, centrally located on Woodward Avenue in Downtown Detroit. It's a very quick walk from the Marriott at the GM Renaissance Centre and many of the other hotels downtown. There are lots of seating options, both downstairs (two rooms) and upstairs in the loft area, as well as a nice outdoor patio. My friends and I stopped here for drinks after we arrived in Detroit and it was bustling, but had a nice relaxed atmosphere. It happened to be happy hour, and they have fantastic deals. We opted for the Reuben sliders and a couple of local beers - they have an extensive list of local options to choose from, with a few on the happy hour menu for half price. We sat in the loft and had a birds eye view of the whole restaurant. The service was quick and attentive and the food arrived quickly, fresh and piping hot. The Reubens were absolutely out of this world delicious, and a perfect snack for after a long flight. The smoked meat was so tender and juicy, and the buns were soft and had a delicious toasted buttery crunch. They paired so well with the beers. All of the other food we saw going to other tables looked and smelled fantastic as well! We loved it so much that we tried to come back the next day. Unfortunately, it was packed as it was a Tigers game day and there was a long wait. It's definitely a popular place! We had a great experience and it was a wonderful way to start our trip to Detroit!

Met some friends here in Detroit. They were busy but not full with plenty of open tables in the side room. Our waitress was very friendly and nice but appeared to be relatively new and inexperienced. She could have been more attentative but wasn't awful and was trying hard. The Brussel sprout dish and grilled cheese sandwich was pretty good. The tomato bisque was excellent. We ordered pub fries for an appetizer and they were excellent. They tended to be a bit salty but that is how I like my fries and we really enjoyed those. The restaurant has a very nice vibe and lots of history attached to it.

Next time your in Detroit make sure to stop at The Grand Trunk Pub and ask for Holly! She is full of knowledge and has some killer dance moves. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is top notch, not to mention the beauty of the building itself!

This place is clean and the waitstaff are always attentive and friendly. The food is delicious and the ingredients seem to be high quality. Our food always comes fast and the bartender is always on top of getting us another drink. They have a good selection of draft beers and cocktails. Have never had an issue here.
