Genuinely nice owners with good service, good food and great prices. Their breakfast burrito was delicious with fresh ingredients. The coffee was also very good! I got the Jett fuel - delicious blend! Will definitely stop by next time we're visiting from NYC. A true neighborhood gem.
REAL egg sandwiches. Meaning, not a $6 breakfast sandwich in the microwave. Cracked eggs made fresh, delicious! Coming from the east coast I've been searching for a spot like this. So reasonably priced, very friendly staff and love the classic train decor!
Stepped in yesterday (092523/Mo) at around 1 PM. Mike, the proprietor, made me a beef, cheddar (2 slices), mayonnaise, salt & pepper, on a Dutch Crunch roll that was heavenly. His roast beef is thinly sliced, medium rare and is to die for. This "3-Way" sandwich is top shelf. After polishing off the sandwich, I ordered a bowl of potato salad, made with red potatoes, that was outstanding, which I highly recommend. Mike, thank you for a wonderful lunch. I'll be back.
One of the best sandwich places in San Mateo, the place sells liquor and a large variety of beers and specialty soft drinks. The portions are filling and fresh of the carving board. I personally like the Oven Roasted Turkey deliciousness with your choice of bread. The service is top notch.
This is the best deli in the area. They make delicious sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Everything is fresh with quality products. They also have a great drink selection and some excellent coffee.
The best deli in San Bruno. Mike and the team at Grand Leader are incredibly welcoming. The place is always clean, the food is always delicious, the employees are always friendly.
Spur of the moment decision to get a sandwich and glad I did! I got the roast beef with sourdough roll and almost all of the offered toppings. Flavors were excellent and everything tasted fresh. The sourdough was a bit more chewy than my personal preference so if you’re looking for a softer sandwich, I would try one of their other breads.
Never went into this place for over 10 years. The sandwiches are awesome. Go.
