I tried them for lunch one day and was convinced I finally found a good pizza place. I Decided let's try them for dinner. They were very busy. There was a little incident that happened so I decided best thing to do was cancel my order. I reluctantly did so. I get in my car and hubby and I are leaving when the owner or manager came out and handed me my 2 riceballs on the house and apologized for the inconvenience. I cried and wanted to pay for the riceballs but he just asked that I give them another chance. I 100% will return to this establishment because of this guys actions plus they do make some yummy pizza and the riceballs were delicious took me two sittings to finish mine. Edit: kind of disappointed that I got a response that was generic and wrong.
First and last time going here. I always pass by this pizzeria dropping off my daughter at her friend's house. So the other day, I figured let me pick up lunch before going back home. When I entered, there were 3 guys behind the counter ( pizza man and 2 counter guys). I ordered a pie, chicken roll and one other item ( can't remember). One of the counter guys got his lunch and came sat at a table. It wasn't bad enough that the other counter guy was touching money and people's food, but he was eating while serving people. To make matters worse, the pizza guy was eating while making pizza ( and no, they were not using a fork ). Personally, I find that to be unsanitary.
I have loved these boys since they took over the area, but I have to say.... they definitely pumped up the quality and richness of taste....they are cutting zero corners!! People... try the sauce!! Are you kidding me? Effin' OUTSTANDING! The meatballs are ALWAYS a favorite. Can't go wrong with pizza--by the way, pizza is for Mondays and Tuesdays too!! Look, I could literally write a book about the quality and quantity of portions, entagled with taste and elegance, and always as speedy of a delivery as possible (look guys, they're popular!! Sometimes it may take a little longer....but it will always be hot!). But......it's your turn to leave a review... #38
Chicken Parm hero was not cutlets but thick chicken fingers, the sauce was greasy and tasted very off, almost sour. The cheese was low quality or not fresh. After a few bites it went into the trash, my wife had pizza and only took one bite, the dough was raw and the sauce was terrible. The owner was talking down to someone on the phone, very loudly and was looking around as if he was proud of himself. Very unprofessional.
Ordered from here this weekend and the food was delicious. The Chicken Francese pie & the Fiesta pie were both great, the fried raviolis were huge, not like little mini ones most places usually give, and the wings were great too. Can't wait to be back in LI to order again (wish they could deliver to Queens!)
All I can say is Awesome love Goomba pizzeria!!! My favorites are Goomba Slice Delicioso!!, and the Chicken Bruschetta, Grandma's Pie Mmm love it Very Friendly Staff Never disappointed brought My Mom in to try the Bruschetta Now she brings her friends. Best pizza in the area by far. This is a takeaway place. There's tables to dine-in for a fast bite. Owner is the best and always does the right thing.
My family has ordered off the catered food menu for most of our big family events and they never disappoint! Food is amazing! They always go above and beyond. Every dish from eggplant, to chicken, to sausage has always been delicious! They send a ton of garlic knots that’s are so big and really tasty! We have also ordered there pizza and that is really good as well!
