We've been coming here as long as we've been together (8 years). I cant believe I missed writing a review all this time. We love Goodwood because it is both consistent and delicious. The quality never changes. The staff are always sweet and seem to enjoy their jobs. Tonight the food and service were both excellent. Even better than usual. Our server gave great drink recommendations and the food came out very quickly despite them being busy! A great experience.
I will be reviewing the hamburger here. It is probably the best in all of Salt Lake City. The meat is a bit charred on the outside (just like I like it) when you get it medium well done but nice and tender in the middle. It comes with lots of pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, all fresh and crisp. Portion is just right. The steak fries are phenomenal, perfectly done, crispy on the outside tender in the middle also. Service is impeccable, the place is always clean, and youshould get your food quick, even though they’re always busy. I might write a review on their barbecue later, but for a burger this is a not to be missed joint!
My husband and I ate here for dinner and it was delicious! Austen (our waiter) was so helpful and one of the best and most respectful waiters I’ve had! He was the perfect combination of being attentive and giving us space. For dinner my husband and I split a rack of St Louis Ribs (10/10!!!) and got the beans (8/10) and fries (8/10) as our sides. I also got a side house salad with the balsamic dressing (9/10 I would get it without the egg next time…just not my thing) BUT I CANNOT say enough abt their Peach Cobbler!!! I would go back for Deseret alone to get more of that! It came out hot with the ice cream on top and was out of this world! The cinnamon flavor was incredible! I’m not always one to order dessert at a restaurant but ORDER THE FRUIT COBBLER!

This place far exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is cozy, the rings are the best I've ever had and the ribs were amazing!! Chelsea was an AMAZING server. My only advice.... Make sure you're burnt ends are actually burnt ends
Stopped by for lunch. Wowed, it was a great lunch to bid farewell to one of our colleagues. But, the BBQ was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service by Austin was right on. Drinks were always topped off. BRAVO!!!
Great place for a dinner date. We had great service. Food came fast, and our table looked and felt clean. 5 stars.
Had a dinner for four last night. Enjoyed the cocktails and the salads but the beef rib rack was nothing but bone. I would not recommend the ribs at this restaurant. See my before and after photo of my leftover beef rib I took home. The eaten rib is basically the same size as before being eaten because there was no meat on the bone. Not even one mouthful per rib. Wow.
