We came here for breakfast after a few people at our hotel recommended it. Parking seemed a little tight, but we easily got a spot. Lots of seating inside. If you have to wait for a table, they ask you to wait outside. There are a few benches to sit on. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. There’s a few cool murals on the wall. Yelp gives you a $5 off coupon if you check in. The food was good. I had a wrap with eggs, chorizo and home fries. The salsa and sour cream added a little more flavor. The side of home fries was seasoned nicely. I also tried grits which I had for the first time. I have nothing to compare it too, but with some butter added it tasted good. Good experience overall.

Rain or Shine prepare to wait outside! Stopped in this morning on the way home from our trip. Business was booming. The food was well worth the wait. Everything was cooked perfectly. The home fries were absolutely delicious! I would definitely eat there again.

My family and I stopped in on our vacation and were happy with the service and the food. Pancakes were huge and fluffy. Decent prices and waitress/ staff were friendly. Will definitely be back!

Holy smokes this was a nice breakfast! It was so tasty, we ended up visiting twice during our trip. The Benedicts are made well, perfectly poached eggs and lots of hollandaise sauce on top. The home fries were surprisingly good and I'm not a huge potato fan. The staff was super friendly and made our experience even better. The rest of the items we got were all tasty and the whole family was satisfied. Keep up the great work!

We have vacationed in Myrtle Beach since the 90s and somehow have missed this gem until this year. After reading numerous reviews, we decided to try The Golden Egg for brunch. We arrived around 10:30 and given an estimated wait time of 25 minutes. Nearly on the 25 minute mark, we received a text that our table was ready. The food was fantastic. Quick service. Reasonable prices. We ordered The Barnyard, The Golden Egg Special, Reese’s pancakes, and strawberry stuffed French toast. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day, a bit earlier. Given a 10-15 minute wait, yet again, text received spot on. That day we ordered the Carolina omelette, the Western omelette, and the Breakfast Wrap. My mom and I returned once more during the week; estimated 10 minute wait. We ordered the BLT and pancakes with a side of potatoes and bacon. Everything was fresh and delicious each visit. We will definitely make this a regular spot on future trips to Myrtle Beach. I will warn that the Reese’s pancakes are very rich. The taste is great, but hard to eat much of on their own. They are plain pancakes covered in peanut butter & chocolate sauce then topped with Reese cups. The potatoes say they have Greek seasoning, and are cooked with peppers and onions. They are a must have and do appear to come with most items.

We had a super long wait for a table and for the food. This place was super busy so I expected great food. The food was below average. My cheese omelet- the cheese wasn't melted and it came to the table cold. The pancakes tasted just like flour even after dousing them in syrup.

The Golden Egg was a great stop for breakfast. I got the country fried breakfast. I also gave a try to the liver mush. Sounds bad, I compared it to scrapple. You get a pot of coffee at your table and anything you need is at your table. Very friendly waitress. I think her name was Pam. Definitely worth a try for anyone in the area of Myrtle Beach. I will go again next time I'm in the area.

loved our server Becky, cute & friendly w/ all of us! Even brought my husband a biscuit while he was waiting 4 our food! large portions 4 $13.99. Golden egg special was good w/ turkey sausage!
