Most of the food is good and fresh. The service is friendly and helpful. The building is a bit outdated, which gives it a slightly less than clean feeling and the restrooms are gloomy looking. Otherwise, it is usually a pleasant visit. I like that they sanitizer receptacles sitting around for customers and employees to use.

The layout of this place is odd, we had to go to the back to pay for our food. This place definitely needs a renovation or something. We've been here 3 years ago and it still looks the same. We sat in the area where there's windows around, the sun was blinding my husbands eyes. No curtain in that particular area. Our waitress Jennifer was friendly and nice. Food was ok.

Love Golden Corrals! Lots of wonderful memories of getting hungry on a long drive & chowing down in the evening, when I get there! This one was no exception. Was going to get steak & cook at my bed & breakfast destination. But Golden Corral had a steak special, plus a senior discount! If you talk right to the gal cooking the steaks, she'll fix you exactly what you want! If she does great, leave her a $5 or $10 tip! So an hour later, two pounds of steak richer, I finally got filled up again. My theory on buffets is to try a tiny bit of most everything that catches your eye, and something that you doubt that you'll like. Eat all the samples slowly, then go back for big helpings of what you like! About $8 & tip for a 40-ounce steak & prime rib dinner is hard to beat! Yum! Been going back for around 40 years!

It's just ok. I like how fast it is to eat there but definitely not one of the better ones. On the plus side I've been there a few times and breakfast food (eggs, sausage, good bacon, french toast with whipped cream and strawberries, pancakes) was offered during lunch. What doesn't bacon go on? The sliders were really good.

From first glance, it looks a bit old and worn... And when you get inside... Meh. But then you give it a chance, and start to realize that the food is really GOOD and the people are amazing. They have table service here, so you never have to worry about your drink going empty or the plates sitting on the table for more than a few minutes. Honestly, I absolutely hate buffets. They always feel unclean to me, and the food is usually suspect at best... So I wasn't too thrilled when my husband picked this place to eat. But I have to admit that I was wrong in this case. I'll definitely be back, if for nothing but the people (and the bleu cheese dressing!)

Terrible. Very poor selection and quality. We are usually very satisfied with this chain...NOT IN ROCK SPRINGS!!!!!! When you enter the restaurant you walk through and around the buffet (weird) but had we glanced at the food while walking by we would've turned around and walked right back out the door. Very over priced for the few entrees (which were yucky) available. Drive right on by folks, you'll be way more satisfied with McDonald's.

We actually eat at the Golden Corral in Shawnee, OK quite a bit and it is a lot better than the one in Rock Springs, WY in several ways, namely selection. In 3 trips to this location, I have yet to get my drink refilled without taking my cup to the register and asking for a refill. The "steak" is pretty good though. Not horrible, but not as good as other locations for the chain.

Not even worth the one star I gave. It is an old, grimy and smelly building. Paid for buffet and then looked at the food and realized what a mistake. Tried the salad bar and ended up with just lettuce and dressing because everything was old and dried out. The only other food safe to eat was a baked potato with butter only (sour cream was bad). Also got a piece of catfish because it was just put out. Dessert was ice cream (another safe choice)and a cookie, I had to spit out because it was hard and stale. It a was just plain discusting. Should have read others reviews first.
