Breakfast Menu "Golden Chick" Giddings

none of the employees were friendly at all, I said hello and got no response what so ever. I ordered the 6 piece tenders with fries, roll and drink. I had to ask 3 times for the big red drink. I truly believe the server gave me the smallest tenders that she could find. It does not cost one penny to be nice and friendly, yet you also feel better when you are friendly. I know this location is better than what happened on this day.

The employees are less than desirable. Extremely rude. They interrupted us multiple times as we placed our order. Everytime they’d close the drive through window they’d slam it. Rolled their eyes during every exchange from payments, to drinks, to our food. This seems to be a recurring issue at this place. New employees with better attitudes and peoples skills is what needs to be done here.

Ask them to turn the two big ceiling fans in the seating area down a speed or two and they refused. I guess they think everyone likes to eat cold chicken !!! The sign on the lobby door says" Cards only". I guess they can't make change.

Stopped by on our way back to Houston from a road trip to Austin. We decided to stop in for lunch. The girls weren't friendly at all. They all seemed bored and uninterested. There was a pile of chicken cooked under the lamp, so I asked if it was their rush hour, to that she replied no. We asked for fresh hot chicken tenders, didn't get that. My okra was old and not hot at all, they were out of wicked wings. We had to ask for napkins and honey for the rolls, which seemed like we were asking her to do something that was tedious. We like Golden Chick and go whenever we get a chance, but this location is not customer friendly and I doubt we'll be stopping in on our next trip.

I love golden chick but last night I traveled to giddings to get some chicken around 9. I waited in the drive thru line for about 15 minutes and when I got to the speaker the lady only said “we aren’t taking orders right now” I asked why and 5 minutes later she said the same thing so we left. I just thought it was very unprofessional.

Today is Saturday June 3 2023 8:15 p.m. I don't know what little girl was working the check out window but she yelled at my father to give her a minute and then proceed to be rude and snarky while taking the order (just 8 tenders 2 sides of fries and no drink). When we finally got to the drive thru window she then proceeded to be rude ignore my parents and when they asked for the spicy sprinkles she was so rude and said something snarky enough for one of her co-workers to pull her away from the window.

This is my FAVORITE place to eat! Everytime I go the ladies are always super friendly and have a smile on their faces. Service is fast & food is HOT! Please give them their props everytime you go!
