Friendly service, good food, store was clean. It's a nice treat whenever I'm in the area.
Food was good like always but younger kids working all sitting around talking when they had dirty tables and the floor had food all over it. They took a few minutes to greet us seeing they had to put their apron on. They were loud as we ate and didnt offer a high chair for our 11 month old so I had to get it.
I am so sick and tired of getting bad food from here. This is the third time in a row. The first two times the buns were stale and almost inedible. This time the hot dogs are so tough my kids can barely bite through them. My oldest got a three way and asked me if the cheese tasted funny. It tasted like they added too much cellulose (prevents caking and melting). I ordered a sweet tea and it tasted like dishwater. I hate, and I mean I hate Skyline, but at least the facility is updated and when you order their food, you know it's going to be edible. $24 wasted dollars... never ever again!!!
A big shout-out to the manager and staff for their gracious hospitality tonight. We had a Cub Scout fundraiser scheduled through Gold Star Corporate. And Corporate apparently forgot to let them know. But, instead of getting upset, they treated everyone with a smile and took care of business. Thank you so much for helping out the Cub Scouts!
We love this place food is great but with the lack of help they service wasn't the greatest... they forgot our drinks waited on our selfs and I seen how clustered she was so I busted our own table...
I occasionally try Gold Star to remind myself how good Skyline actually is. Everything from the food, the service, the cleanliness, and the building is just not as good as Skyline. But hey they have milkshakes 🤷♂️
Someone put sugar in the salt shaker. Didn't realize it at first until I noticed the cheese fries were very sweet. I asked for a replacement but instead when I told the manager all I got was "sorry". We won't be going back.
We loved the diner experience and the great local feel. The staff is always humorous and friendly. We also greatly appreciate the military discount which they offered.
