The service was good. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken salad 🥗 It was a pretty large portion. Few of my coworkers ordered an individual pizza and it was pretty small, may be 8 inch diameter

Bigger than I expected and a few unique items on the menu were a surprise. Order an onion. I hear the house dressing is good... and with a garlic flavor so intense it'll make you miss your Italian ex-boyfriend's meatball of a mother. I liked the Greek salad.

The food was good. Service was served with a smile and drinks were decent. The atmosphere is a little low key, but the rest makes up for it in this nice home town restaurant.

The atmosphere was great! Like a genuine mom n pop pizzeria with ling standing history. It was my first time in. Had the Meat Lovers pizza upon the advice from a friend who is a regular. The beer was cold, the service quick and attentive. The pizza, however, didn't live up to my high expectations. Don't misread me, it was a good pizza and I would have it again, but it wasn't a "great" pizza. It was a bit on the dry side, which is a shame because their red sauce is really good. The bacon pieces seemed to be overcooked and not integrated as well as they could have been. And the cheese was a bit thin (but of good quality). I could have stopped by on an off night, so I'm giving benefit and will try them again. The elements of the pie were great, just fell a bit on the execution as awhole. We finished with the tiramisu, which was wonderful!

It was kind of like stepping into a time capsule in a way with the decor, but I like that! It was nostalgic. Service was amazing also, our server was very personable. She wasn’t able to get to us super often, but she was clearly slammed so we don’t hold that against her. I got a sangria flight which was an EASY 10/10 as a sangria lover! The Cesar salad was not the best, tasting like the dressing was store bought. The croutons definitely seemed home made though, so all together that was a 6.5 out of 10. My chicken parm was one of the best you can get in the Dayton area in my opinion, and it’s a very realistic portion which I can’t say about one of the popular Italian places in Dayton and I appreciated that. Chicken was flavorful and spaghetti was buttery under the tomato sauce. The parm was an 8.4 out of 10! My husband got the meat ravioli and he was not as enthused, he felt it was a bit rubbery. He gave his a 5/10. All together it was a good first experience, and it won’t be the last. Glad to have found an Italian place in Dayton who hasn’t inflated the prices beyond date night affordability and still has quality!

My wife and I went to Giovannis last month, and again tonight. Previously, I had the meat ravioli with meat sauce and my wife had the chicken parmesan. I did not have a great experience with the ravioli but my wife loved her chicken parm. This time around, I had a much better experience! For starters, we ordered breadsticks and they were great! Highly recommend, they were seasoned very well! I had a Caesar salad and she had a house salad. Both were very good, although the croutons in mine were a little...chewy. Not a huge fan of that, but the salad itself was good. For our entrees I decided on the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and it was GREAT. I personally like a lot of pepper on my food so I added some extra but it wasn't necessary at all. Very nice portion, lots of flavor! Our server was very polite and tended to us as best she could, it was a busy Friday! Overall 8/10, good food for the price, polite staff, definitely older decor, but it has a nice nostalgia vibe that we personally liked. Our 2 trips have been a little inconsistent so you might have to try it more than once to get a good feeling for it!

I have gone here since the 60s. Happy to say, even though owners changed, their signature flavor never has. Far and away Fairborns best pizza. Oh, recommend well done...

I took my best friend here for an early dinner. The menu was limited. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs tasted like mystery meat and were definitely not freshly made. The sauce tasted like a cheap sauce from a jar. My friend ordered the stuffed shells. They were just okay. She felt the same way about the sauce. We had eaten here before and had a pizza. Underwhelming. We thought we would give it another try. The service was good. This wasn't her fault. Needless to say, we will never be returning. Not a good place to eat.
