The best deep dish pizza in Chicago. We had Mama Primavera (their veggie deep dish pizza) with chicken added as extra topping. It was cheesy and crispy with so much filling in each slice. Each person could eat one slice and we were so full !
Amending our review as management handled it very professionally and talked me off the ledge. This is literally our favorite neighborhood pizza joint and I appreciate the sincere apology and response we received regarding our experience. Glad to know additional training will be given to the staff to ensure other families don't experience this again. Kids are enjoying their pizza at home as we speak (ordering in was our original plan). Original review: Our kids left hungry.... What a horrible start to the weekend. Friday night and we were hoping to enjoy time as a family. Waiter had a strange attitude from when we first arrived. We did absolutely nothing to provoke him. He somehow never put our kids order in. If we had known we would have ordered something for us adults that kids could share too. Both kids started crying hysterically throwing tantrums out of hunger. Waiter finally put our order in when we were ready to leave. Told the manager but he did nothing but just apologize. No resolution, no actions, nothing etc. Extremely unprofessional and surprising given we order from here so regularly via catering and carry out.
Be ready to wait, there is a waiting period but once your seated, your taken care of. the pizza has a nice flavor to it and the the thin crust was nice and crunchy. The wings had a tasty flavor as well nothing to special but the fries are worth having next time I would love to try them with the cheese topping . Over all might try it again but make sure u have money it is pricey.
We held a small funeral luncheon here and they were very accommodating. The general manager, Danny, was great to work with. The staff was attentive and helpful. definitely recommend for larger groups!
Absolutely loved this restaurant! We ordered the dough nuggets and thin crust pizza and both were Absolutely Amazing!!! The staff was very friendly and welcoming and our server José was fantastic!! We will definitely come back here on our next trip to the area.
Went for lunch with the fam and we were not disappointed. Had thin crust and deep dish pizza. The pizza was good and mimics Lou's but with its own twist. Georgia's sauce was much better and less acidic than Lou's. Also enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and dough nuggets. Service was great...nice place... so we will be back
I visted here a few years ago for the first time when I came to Chicago to visit my family. I remember the service and the food being excellent before. However, the service was disappointing this time and our table was sticky and dirty. The truffle fries were good but the Georgios deep dish pizza was way too salty.
This place has great pizza! The deep dish is very tasty and one of my favorites. The thin crust was not as good. Service was rather slow. We had a party of 11 and the server maybe checked in on us for once every 30min so it took awhile to get our food ordered. If you don’t feel like waiting, they offer take and bake pizza as well!
