Love their Greek salad, fresh vegetables and large slice of feta cheese with the perfect oil vinegar dressing. My mom loves to go on Friday for their fish and chip, for $11. The fish type will change due to what is available, but she said all are good. The yeast rolls they bring to your table are yummy. The waitresses here are the best.
Family owned restaurant. Best prime rib in Tidewater. Salads are always fresh. Soups are delicious. Family friendly. I usually have soup and salad for under $10, but once in a while, I splurge and have prime rib. Totally worth it!
Overcooked and pricey for the quality. Italian dishes of other guests in our party had little to no sauce. Management was good at customer service and trying to remedy the quality issues but I will not patronize this establishment again.
The food was amazing. The staff are lovely. I really enjoyed my time in Virginia and I couldn’t recommend this place enough! If you’re ever in Suffolk, make sure you visit this place.
Low key and not very busy are for sure positives. Food was ok. Overall it was a decent experience although a little pricey.
We went to George’s on my birthday while visiting my brother in Suffolk. The wait wasn’t long at all and it was a Saturday night. We probably waited 20 minutes. The restaurant was packed. I ordered NY Strip and this steak was probably the very best I have ever had. It tasted like Prime and was priced very well. I would definitely go back again. They made my birthday fantastic. They kept our glasses refilled and checked on us the right amount of times, not too much and not too little. It was just right!
We were traveling through the area and didn't know anywhere to stop for lunch, until we saw this place with a full parking lot, so we said okay. Y'ALL THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Delicious food, friendly service. The food was so wonderfully prepared I just HAD to leave the cook his own separate tip. Would gladly stop by if we ever come this way again.
First time visit today. Very nice waitress. My husband and I ordered the crab cake sandwich. He had the plentiful fresh cut fries and I had the loaded baked potato. Waitress regularly checked on us and the food was delicious. We will be returning. We attend Alive Church and would smell the aroma and wondered the food must be good-the parking lot always seems full. Now we know "Good customer service/Good Food."
