What I enjoy most about George’s Diner is the great conversation / camaraderie with fellow patrons and employees. For example, on our last visit we had the pleasure of chatting with Charlie, a 98 year old WWII vet that first visited the diner on Sept. 1, 1939, the day he registered for high school. A fixture at George’s, you can usually find Charlie in his corner seat enjoying the diner fare twice a day. It’s always a pleasure chatting with the folks at George’s. As for the food . . . delicious. In fact, my lady says Liz makes the best omelets in town. Service is always great, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of an old school diner. If you are in the Overland area, definitely worth stopping by for great eats and enjoyable, lighthearted conversation.

Pancakes are very good! A must have!!! Hot coffee served with a warm smile. I enjoyed the food and the friendly atmosphere that this place has. The his small dinner dates back to the early fifties. Love is place!

I love supporting local businesses! Cindy single-handedly took our orders, cooked and served 8 customers while we were there. Food was great, coffee was hot, price was excellent, what else can you ask for?! Would highly recommend.

Step back in time, A true old and old fashioned diner. Good food and good service. Limited seating inside other than at the counter, but outdoor seating is available.

Food was great and served fast. Staff was genuinely concerned with customers satisfaction. Several games for entertainment both inside and outside in the awesome patio area. Very nice place.

Nice little place to eat with reasonable prices. My only complaint is the gravy on the biscuit tasted a little off, but it was nice and thick with plenty of sausage. The 3 egg omelet was just about as good as i could do it at home. Over all, I would recommend this a nice place to eat and would recommend it to anyone who asked.

Was looking for a new breakfast restaurant. Definitely found it here.. we will be back for sure..

I was going back and forth between 1 and 2 stars. The reason I gave it two was because the gal who was running the place was sweet. But the food was subpar and the coffee was disgusting, the outside of the cup was dirty and tasted nasty when I put my mouth on it. Overall this place was dirty and some of the packaged deserts display on the counter were several months old. She was the only one working and it was a full house and take out orders. She needed someone else to help, but she did her best. I did witness her touch raw sausage with bare hands, not wash her hands and continue to touch people's cups to refill and all the other kitchen things including cash register to take money. I should have just left at that point but it's a little place and I didn't want the confrontation.
