Friendly's is.... Well.... FRIENDLY 🙂 Over 30years later, only change was the building moved over to second building on the large lot. Friendly's first used to be on the actual corner (the 1st building) . Different old layout. Today's layout matches all the other franchise layouts. Great place to eat. I like that I am able to switch out the ice cream flavor for others on the Jim Dandy. Thumbs up. 👍
Havent been to a Friendlys in ages and firgured why not. The menu is packed with items. Alot of the usual items with some new ones. The hostess was some what helpful. We have 2 toddlers under 3 and asked for booster seats, she gave us one then walked away and never returned. We had to grab our own. No biggie. The server was extremely polite and sweet. Food arrived within a decent amount of time but the quality was not so great. The mac and cheese bites tasted very weird. Almsot chemically. Or it was cooked in old or burned oil. Or cooked in an oven with some kind of spray additive. Was really disappointed with it. The cheese sauce that accompanied it was actually very nasty tasting. Not sure if it just the brand they use or what but it was nasty tasting. Thats the best way to describe it. The burger was decent. Smashed and well cooked with good flavors. In all, its a Friendly's, with good atmosphere, good employees and decent food.
This location does still do breakfast all day, which means the tie dye pancakes for my kid's birthday dinner. The service is every bit as Friendly as the name says it should be. Truly wonderful server staff ♥️
It was amazing. This is the best food I’ve ever had. Amazing value. I’m going to come here as often as I can. I highly recommend it.
Friendly's isnt good toodits been years since i went there but thats what my wife wanted and sadly it was no where near what she remembered a disappointing franchise that should just make ice cream only
This restaurant is horrible. My family and I ate there on Sunday, June 25th. My sister and I got food poisoning from eating the seafood. I ordered the fried clams strip platter, my sister a fish sandwich. I fell ill immediately after leaving the establishment. Throwing up and diarrhea the entire day and night. My sister got sick later in the evening. This was my first time ever eating here, and it definitely will be the last. The tables and chairs weren't cleaned. Had to switch tables twice until we located a clean section. The strawberry milkshakes we ordered tasted like strawberry milk. Very runny. The broccoli was cooked in the microwave and was cold by the time it was served to us. Please do not eat any seafood from this Friendly's in Riverhead. Very disappointed with the entire visit here and we spent over $130. Waste of money and ruined the rest of the day. We were visiting from Georgia so everyday counts.
Lots to choose from. Can put your own sides with your meal. Fast service. Totally worth it at any age.
Outstanding place for food, staff are very friendly so it lives up to the name! I recommend the turkey club! P.s Mmmm yummers
