Friendly’s has always been my go to place for a delicious sundae! I do also enjoy the crispy chicken salad with honey mustard dressing.. I have very fond memories of my grandmother bringing me, my sister and brother to Friendly’s when we visited over the summers, many years ago..We always had the cone head sundae after our meal. I to brought my own children to carry on this wonderful tradition.. Thank you Friendly’s for sticking around and keeping tradition stay alive..

I brought my kids for ice cream today. While sitting at our table minding our own business this old lady walks into the kitchen loud as hell and said did you see all of those kids at 35. All of those kids don't belong in a restaurant. She didn't even have the decency to walk far enough in where the tables couldn't hear her. She was far too worried about how many kids I have to even read the order and prepare the ice-cream correctly. While she was busy mocking my family my son sad there and ate the mint chocolate chip ice cream she brought him instead of complaining that he didnt get the cookie dough he ordered. I checked the receipt and the server put the order in correctly, but she must have been too busy looking at my table to look at the screen and do her job correctly. Haley was great. She gave us excellent service, but the fossil running food is one of the rudest people I've encountered in a while. She probably should have retired 20 years ago. I wasn't aware that large families don't deserve to be in restaurants like everyone else. My kids were pretty well behaved and polite that boomer could take some lessons from them.

Was passing through on a way back from golfing and was shocked to see a friendly’s, as most in my area have closed. Decided to stop for lunch and happy I did! the whole staff was incredibly energetic and welcoming, and were quick to serve. Food was great too. Happy to see they still have the Monster Mash on the menu

Daughter and I went in for late lunch, 2 pm. Waitress was very nice and welcoming and our food was fine, sandwiches and one with a bonus sundae. Glad we stopped there.

I am so glad that there are still some Friendly's restaurants standing. This is the perfect place for families to enjoy a meal and a sweet treat. I had not been to Friendly's in a while, and there are some great additions to the menu along with old favorites. My son had the most amazing-looking burger, and I grabbed a piece of mac 'n' cheese that fell out of it and it did not disappoint. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was hot and fresh. They were quick to notice when our drinks had gotten low. The restaurant was well-kept and clean. What I was most impressed with was my young granddaughter's menu selection. It was a healthy option off of the children's menu, but it was carefully crafted to be child-pleasing and honestly looked delicious! All-in-all, this was the perfect place for a rare lunch outing with my grown stepson and his beautiful family.

I've always loved Friendly's. I'm disappointed though that you can no longer get the tuna salad roll. It was the best tuna salad I've had in a restaurant. They also no longer serve breakfast. Otherwise everything is always good especially the waitresses. It's a shame so many of them have closed. I hope the Hackettstown location continues to be my go to place for inexpensive good food.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. Throwback to the old days of Friendly's. They need to relaunch and remarket this chain. It's has the quality and service of a local luncheonette and diner but with the consistency and menu of a modern chain. It is the best family restaurant that no one remembers or knows about. They nail it on every menu option, and the ice cream is still like the best ice cream parlor. We had young people with us, and they agreed. The food is super fresh and tasty, and the service is incredible and local. I wanted a Swiss Patty Melt which is no longer on the menu (not sure why, since it was Friendly's signature burger and is truly up there amoung the best) and Lori the manager who has been working for Friendly's for over 40+ years remembered it and made it for me (can't make this up.) It was even better than I remembered and the frys were also incredible. Speaking of Lori, another throwback is the incredible training she must have had. She managed the restaurant like it belonged to her own family. You truly feel like you are back in the 60/70s where the food is real, and they know your name.

Just got ice-cream. It was good, service was good. Place is in need of a remodel, water was gross, usually is though. Overall goof experience
