Fratelli has a strong reputation in Stamford for being one of the better Italian markets. My most recent experience was mixed. The Italian combo was tasty and well stacked -- plenty of meat (a touch light on the cheese). The bread was fresh and flavorful. The price was a little steep, but the sandwich was good. My colleague ordered the chicken cutlet sandwich, which including much less chicken than should have arrived. The sandwich was tasty -- but simply not enough chicken. We also ordered Chicken Scarp takeout for dinner. The chicken was bland and the ratio of peppers was off -- there were just too many peppers for the amount of chicken included.
Food was excellent and the young man who helped us was very engaging! I would go back
My family stopped here today while driving through and I am kind of bummed I know how amazing it is because I’ll be missing it until I can come back. Easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The market looked incredible and a great selection of drinks. Can’t wait to come back!
Fratelli has a great Italian market but unfortunately, the sandwiches were lackluster. I had The Godfather on a wedge and it was a lot more bread than meat and the bread wasn’t very fresh. I would definitely return for the market but not for the sandwiches

These guys are great. I've been coming here for years. Great ravioli and great sandwiches. Get the #1 Sandwich - imported Prosciutto and Mozzarella!
Visiting Fratelli Market is like visiting Arthur Avenue! Their mozzarella is made daily and melts on your mouth. The variety of sandwiches and salads are delicious and they also have as variety of gluten free pastas and lasagna that are the best you can find!
Great sandwiches. Great price. Much better than the Italian deli down the block. Travis and Sean are just good dudes. You can tell a ton of regulars come in. They know everyone's name and order.
