We spent the day in the Fernandina area and thought we would try a local place. Very glad we did. From the moment we walked in the experience was terrific. My wife decided on the Carbonara and it was wonderful. Pasta was just right, good flavor, creamy but not too heavy. I did the daily special of duck breast and it was just right. Crispy, tender and flavorful duck paired just right with risotto and wilted spinach. Forgot about the bread with pesto, lightly fried calamari and the amazing tiramisu. If you are in the Fernandina and Yulee area give it a try.

While driving back from the beach, we saw this place and decided to stop in. Not knowing it was a reservation only establishment, they were able to set a table up for us in short order. We sat down, and waited about 10 minutes to get our drink order taken (unsweetened tea and a sweet tea which here is unsweetened with a side is simple syrup). Not a big deal because we did pop in uninvited. Our order gets taken, calamari, Jamaican pork tenderloin and the filet, both with Caesar salads. Took a while for the calamari to come out but it was absolutely stunning! Never had better. While waiting for our salads, we were brought refills. I had to ask for more simple syrup for her, two different times...and it never came. I had to flag down another waitress to get us a side of it. 20 minutes after finishing our appetizer, the salads showed up (they sat on top of the expo table for about 10 minutes). Mine had virtually no dressing. Literally two individual leaves had dressing on them. I asked for more Caesar dressing only to have to wait a additional 5 minutes. By this time my salad is completely room temperature and not enjoyable to eat so I tossed it on the end of the table. We got a half hearted apology for the extra dressing being so late. Finally the main course arrives. Her filet was decent but not seasoned well, my pork tenderloin was delicious but tiny in size. Each piece was maybe 1/4 inch thick and tiny in size. It tasted good but I never leave a meal starving...and here I did.

Wonderful dinner, delicious food, plentiful servings, and great service. ONLY criticism would be entrees were too heavily salted. Forgot this was a concern at previous visits and just need to remember to request lower salt when ordering.

Wish I could have given this place a higher rating. Service and presentation were excellent. My big complaint was the small portions of protein on the plate. My gyro plate was tasty but had a very small amount of meat on it (about 7 paper thin slices). My wife's chicken and orzo was good but had only 4 slices of chicken on it. Because of that, we won't go back.

Very nice place. Casual but elegant in a small, family run, Italian restaurant way. Service was very personable yet professional, and the chef/owner and other staff really put in nice extra touches to make our evening enjoyable. From the chef visiting our table, to our server holding the door and greeting us on our way out, we felt nicely taken care of. The food was also very good. Perfect flavors, nice and hot, good portion size...would definitely return here. Just need an espresso machine and this would get five stars!

Our Happy Anniversary evening dinner with family and friends was wonderful. Food was excellent, wait staff great - great Host/Owner who even provided our balloons. It's so worth the short trip from the island - high quality food - even WILD Alaskan salmon (that's hard to find on any menu on the island. Hats off to the owner, staff, our daughter who arranged it and family and friends who attended. Everyone was impressed!!

Friends recommended this restaurant. Not crowded, got seated, took a little long to get our drink orders. What took the longest was getting our food ordered. The chicken Marsala tasted very bland. The chicken was the consistency of a piece of fruit. The sauce had no taste. Caesar salad complementary with dinner the waitress mentioned, was good. They were out of steak which is their speciality. How can you be out of steak at 6:30pm?

Anniversary Dinner. It was perfect! Service was excellent! Very Friendly staff and the food was amazing!!!!
