We ordered the John Wayne burger and Chicken Fried Steak dinner. Both were AMAZING! Steak tasted fresh and not frozen, edges nice and crispy, and huge chunks of sausage in the gravy. Mashed potatoes were real lol. Nothing bad to say about our experience.
So disappointed at this place. Food took a while but Iām willing to wait for good food. Getting your order messed up on the most basic things is not cool. I had to go in to order because the kids menu was not available for take out. After I got my food the most important food (kids) was burnt and inedible. The pics say it allā¦ not to mention forgotten sauce thatās on the receiptā¦. The worst pat is my wife tried to eat her food unlike me and our daughter and found a hair in her burger. Extremely disappointed
We try to go about once a month and the food never disappoints. Our service wasn't great last time, however, once it was brought to their attention they were very attentive and the owner came over to apologize. I'm guessing they were having staffing issues. This definitely won't stop us from going back since the 20 times before service was fantastic.
Had a burger and potato skins in the bar earlier tonight while watching the playoffs. Both were quite good. Service was fast and friendly. Been eating here for years never an issue.
We got wings, fries, and a pulled pork meal. Everything was "okay". The pork was bland and could have been cooked longer. The wings were grilled and had an off putting flavor and we got 2 different sauces. The fries were soggy and not seasoned well. The fry sauce was also disappointing. The potato salad was very small and tasted old. We ended up throwing away most of our order.
Excellent food! We had a great waitress and the meals were all delicious. I had the prime rib sandwich and my husband had the chicken fried steak. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak. My kids had 3 kids meals: the Mac and cheese, grilled cheese and corn dogs. The Mac and cheese is NOT out of a box (YAY). The grilled cheese had a generous slice of cheddar. The jam chicken wings were delicious as well. The kids eat free on Mondays and they also have an every day military 10% off discount. We will return!
The food was good as always, but weāve never had poorer service. We got our drinks pretty quickly, and our orders were taken relatively quickly. But then we were either forgotten or ignored. Our food took longer than expected, even though it was slow. We waited 20+ minutes with our napkins on our plates, actually called out to servers more than once, and tried every time we saw someone in the dining area to catch someoneās eye. We finally ended up going to the front desk and asking for our bill.
The staff was super friendly and polite. Definitely pricey. The burgers were mid. The captain's platter was not edible. I don't know if the grease was old but it was horrible and I could not eat it.
