The food here was ABSOLUTELY amazing, melt in your mouth delicious! If you are Gluten Free, they have mouth watering entrees cooked on a separate griddle and clearly labeled on the menu. The service was amazing. My drink was refilled before I noticed it was empty. The entire family loved it, from the adults to the children. Highly recommend. This is my new favorite restaurant in Burnsville.

Great for those who have a gluten sensitivity! I first went for brunch around 10am on a Sunday, and it was good. I was limited because I also can't have dairy, but I was still able to have a few items from the buffet. Their lunch menu was much larger when I went the second time (around 1pm on a Sunday) with lots of gluten free and dairy free items to choose from. We were a little bummed that we had arrived around 12:40pm that day and had earlier been told on the phone that seating ended for brunch at 12:45... but when we got there we were told they were already closing down brunch. Anyway, food is good, so might as well try it :)

Most exceptional service I have ever had! This place is a real (hidden?) gem. Both the owners, Bryan and John, made a point of highlighting the vegetarian options for me; John even came out of the kitchen and sat down with us to go over the whole menu!!! Our waitress was great and made me a great martini suggestion (pomegranate & acai). Good food, fantastic service, great atmosphere & all for a very reasonable price! They treated us like VIPs even though I'm sure we just looked like poor college kids. We'll be going back again & again just for that.

I've been to Ernie's a few times, mostly for drinks, and then this morning for the breakfast buffet. The bar is right up my alley. Not too packed, nice but not trendy, interesting beers on tap. The breakfast buffet food was great, and priced right for a boys' morning out with my son. The service is always friendly and attentive. They're a little off the road, and I suspect as a result, a lot of people don't know about them. If they were closer to County Road 42, they would probably be much busier.

My family and I decided to try somewhere new, for us, and chose to visit Ernie's Pub and Grill. We arrived and the restaurant was completely empty - which made us nervous, but we were eating a tad early for dinner, so we thought maybe it picks up closer to the dinner hour. As we entered we saw used bar-stools for sale in the vestibule - another bad sign of what was to come... We were greeted promptly and were given a table. Our server was very nice, and did a good job taking care of us during our meal - the quality of service was the only positive aspect of this visit. That being said, I'll skip to the food... As you might have guessed by the tone of this review, the food was terrible. Beyond terrible infact. First we tried the potstickers which were so inundated with soy-sauce they were barely edible, and the sauce that accompanied the dish was so salty it had to be more soy-sauce. The Calamari was over-breaded and also over seasoned as well. For dinner we ordered the fajita tacos which were extremely over seasoned with, what tasted like, over rthe counter taco seasoning. These tacos were so over seasoned they were barely edible. I ordered a burger with olives and blue cheese crumbles on top. The bun was obviously not freshly made. The patty was also obviously frozen and not fresh. Oh and this too was over salted. The waffle fries were good, as was the seasoned sour-cream (which they named "sexy sauce"). As for the decor.. I'll simply say it wasn't good... But I really was unhappy with their shirts... The back of their shirts read "My boss gets unhappy when I shorten his name to Dick... His name is John." Totally inappropriate for a family themed restaurant in my opinion. Furthermore, while I found the seasoned sour cream to be quite good, the term "sexy sauce" is also tip-toeing the line. That being said, fixing neither of these points will address the main issue of this restaurant - which was the atrocisly bad food. Do not visit this restaurant.

The co-owner was rude when I wouldn't try his French Toast. Not only once, but every time I went up to the breakfast buffet he kept baggering me about trying it. I kindly refused and then it became an unfortunate first time experience. Overall, good food.

What an absolutely fabulous place. The staff was great...The food was wonderful in taste and appearance. I have celiac and am always terrified of eating out and do not eat out often because it usually does not end well for me. Due to my son coming into town and staying in Burnsville we decided to venture out. Found Ernie's and thought we would give it a try. I was able to have food that I have not eaten in years (there is nothing like French fries from a restaurant) . The menu is full of gluten free options and are cooked in a safe environment to ensure that there is no cross contamination (how many places can say that?). My sons found their meals, that were not gluten free, to also be awesome. One son had the Burnsville Philly and the other had the Piggy-Back. When my son is in town again next week, we will be going back to Ernie's to try another fabulous food item off their huge menu. Nice to finally have a place to go where I feel the food is safe to eat and tastes wonderful.

We had the champagne pasta and coconut shrimp for entres and calamari and salt and pepper wings. The salt and pepper wings were the best part of the meal. The champagne pasta just tasted like wet spaghetti with veggies. It was incredibly brand. The coconut shrimp was greasy. The calamari was incredibly greasy as well. We will not be going back.
