User Reviews

It's a hit and miss. The food is incredible and on point. Always friendly and attentive. Today was great all around. Although there wasn't many customers. Food was good and the service was attentive.

The staff were friendly and competent. The chips had zero salt on them, the salsa was fair. My iced tea was bitter and didn't taste like tea. My shrimp fajita was tasty but the vegetables had been precooked and just reheated. I did eat my entire meal (not the chips and salsa) so it wasn't terrible, just "meh". I won't go back. I'm guessing the high ratings are from people who ordered cocktails. The ones I saw being served were massive 🤣

I only gave this place 2 stars because : the good : staff are friendly and helpful and the chips and salsa were delicious… as was the Horchata… The bad: What is the white cup of dipping sauce for chips? Tasted like a ranch dip they use at Taco bell, very random.. Our meals werent the best tasting, the enchiladas salsa almost had no taste to it and the rice tasted like it was old. The carne asada steak didnt taste like it was typical skirt steak and tasted more like a piece of round steak, very dry.. The outside appearance isn’t the best and couldn’t tell if it was open or not on a Saturday at noon with no cars in the driveway besides the ones on side of the building.

The people here are great, no complaints there! You should plan $15-$20 per adult. The chips are awful. Stale, bland, and no real substance to them. The Horchata was super watery, and not good at all. The food was average.. presentation and sizes are great, but the food itself is bland and lacks flavor. This place could be awesome, but they need to add some flavor to the food.

Portions were very big, and food was really good.

Updated review: This place is fantastic! The service is great, always fast and friendly. We came back for our second Sunday in a row and this will become a regular place to visit for us. The Seafood El Patron and The Diablo burrito are delicious! The burrito portions are large enough to share or take home and reheat as leftovers. Highly recommend!!! Previous review: I got my order to-go and was unimpressed with the Yolanda enchiladas, the chicken was dry and they didn’t have much flavor. However, the rice and beans were fantastic and I got to enjoy my husbands leftover spicy burrito and it was delicious! I would give this place another try and maybe order something different for my meal.

Went for Dinner - I'll share some positives and negatives: Positives - we were seated right away, waitress was friendly, food came fast, interesting cream sauce served with chips, generous protien portions with food, overall portions were good, and a nice kids menu. Negatives - Food was very bland. Nothing special - edible, but extremely basic. Salsa served with chips had zero heat, and honestly felt watered down. Had to get up and ask for my own refills when I was out of water. Quite expensive for the quality. Overall, if you like tame mexican food, you might like it. But if your craving a more flavorful expirence or a good value, I would skip it.

Their rice and beans was good and that SHRIMP TACO??? AMAZING. Omg. Never had a Shrimp taco from a restaurant and it was THAT good. Thank you so much for this great experience.
