Today, 9/13/23 returned for breakfast after 2+ years gone due to bad experience and the breakfast typico Salvie was Amazing. I even told the dude if they had new cooks, well today must be the great cooks cause the presentation, the size, the Food was AMAZING.
I first felt ignored. To serve me 2 pupusas took them over 30 minutes. They need a to understand customer service. Sad to know their food represent the salvadoran community.
if you need takeaway food or you came for delivery, it is better not to go here. this is the worst place i have ever seen. they do not pay attention to you, communicate with you high and wait for you for a very long time.
If you want authentic Salvadorian food this is the perfect place. Everything is really tasty, fresh and homemade. The queso and crema tasted 100% Salvadorian not like other places that you can tell is american sour cream and the platanos were really sweet exactly the way I like them. Everything is made to order so you need to wait, they have pan dulce so you can get some with coffee until your food is ready. The place is big and clean, everyone is welcoming and friendly. I get my pupusas and tamales only from here!!! I highly recommend it!!!
My wife and I decided to give this place a try. Read reviews about the wait times. Not at all a problem, Got there and Pupusas were served in about 15 minutes. Normal time for a pupusa to be cooked and served to your table. Pupusas were tasty as heck. We will be definitely going back
A great place to eat authentic Salvadorian food Really nice and cozy family atmosphere love the place
When you read reviews about the wait time, believe it. Ordered our food at 12:20pm when the line was empty, was told it'd take 35-45 min, which is what we expected. Asked for their spicy sauce and was told it might be ready when our food was done, no prob. An hour later I was told food still wasn't ready. And finally at 1:35pm was told it was ready. I asked about the spicy sauce and the woman at the counter asked angrilly if i paid for it. I said I hadn't, wasn't told I needed to, and offered to pay. She ignored me and asked the man who originally offered the sauce and he said it wasn't ready, which was fine but the quality of food wasn't the same. Lady was polite to her regular customers (calling them by name), taking and filling their orders in 20 min or less so maybe focus on orders as they come instead of expediting your friends' orders...
Place has nice Salvadoran food. I have had the mix pupusas, sample platter, Micheladas, Pollo de creama, fresh made guacamole w/chips, fried fish tilapia, chicken tenders. The kids and family like this place. They need to add a little longer business hours here. The pastries and Breads are good here too. The horchata is tasty to. So if you are in town you should stop on by for a bit to eat or a sweet tooth craving. Or just to hang out with friends over a sample platter and Micheladas.
