Premade/store bought taco shells and bland flavorless ingredients. This place is bad, even for Bay Area Mexican Food standards. The only thing Mexican about this place was the sent of Fabuloso.

I ordered a breakfast burrito with steak, egg, rice and potatoes no beans and no sauce. It was fresh, hot, huge and delicious. Super filling. The green and red sauce aren't very spicy but yes very flavorful. It gave the burrito the Xtra flavor as in the cherry on top. Loved it will come back and try other stuff.

Great food, lovely authentic atmosphere. Generous portions for a very good price. Parking is a bit of a challenge but if you look in nearby streets you should be okay. Fast service.

First time here. Parking is small and dark. Going in, there is a sign on the door No Pets. The restaurant looks small, staff was friendly and helpful with my order. There is a small chips n salsa bar. Food arrived quickly and OMG!!! Delicious!!!! Definitely coming back.

Carnitas was my favorite. Al pastor is good but unless you like very spicy then ask without the red spicy that is default for these tacos. The menudo which is only available on the weekends is a very big portion and a bit bland in my opinion and wouldn't order again. Been in business for decades and rightfully so. Storefront can be easily missed if you're not really looking for it. Small restroom for customers.

Really wanted to like this place, all the guys were really nice, the atmosphere felt right. Good salsa bar, red is the more spicy but not really spicy at all. The green is not spicy but it has a nice fresh tangy taste. Free chips. Ordered Super Nachos, Super Burritos, one "wet". All of them had AL Pastor meat. It was recommended by the cashier, unfortunately the meat was all dry and tuff. I think it was the leftover from the day before. Not sure if we ordered the wrong thing but I feel like we wasted a meal here.

I've came to El Charrito a couple times now, and everything has been amazing! I had their wet burrito and torta, and both were delicious. They also have a good selection of breakfast as well. The employees are all very friendly and serve your meal in no time. I highly recommend checking out El Charrito!

Great quick service restaurant with friendly service. Try to chorizo and asada tacos; you won’t be disappointed.
