I have been to this location a handful of times. Let’s just say first impressions are lasting once I originally supplied a review under the name big boys diner I believe I have to find it so I can attribute it to the proper name. This morning I went in and was not greeted by the same stone faced woman I encountered sitting at the bar the first time I went here. ( on a previous visit she was preoccupied with her cell phone and somehow she thought that I was supposed to know that she worked there 🙃) Unlike the first time she wasn’t preoccupied with her cell phone. However like the first time she just looked at me as though I’m supposed to know that she was ready to take my order.🤷🏽♀️ suggestion: say “good morning “ or “ how may I help you?” Maybe it’s me afterall I was raised with manners but I would think an establishment wants repeat customers. I will not be a repeat customer going forward. Then the lone waitress whom I have tipped generously in the past (not today and I never not tip but today I set a precedent). I asked her if I could pay my bill to save time and her response to me was “I don’t know what you had.”🙃 suggestion: “ what did you order?” or “let Me grab your check I’ll be right back.”🤷🏽♀️ I service in this place reminds me of something that you would see on TV when a prison cafeteria is depicted. Waitress did tell me to “have a nice day.”🤔 My day will be great and my money will be spent elsewhere going forward!🙂 Climate definitely starts at the top. It is evident to me that the employment relationship is extremely friendly. Please sprinkle a dash of professionalism and a pinch of old fashioned greetings such as “hello” or “hi” or just “smirk.”🤷🏽♀️ One word, one gesture at a time- baby steps. Food was so good. The order was quick. People are so nice. Is a cute place. You can eat either in or out
First visit and it was pretty good... food was good and on the table quickly. The place is very clean, i saw one of the waitress was cleaning the menus over and over lol. The people who run the place were awesome. Very kind and nice and fun. And almost forgot they give u big portions, atleast compared to other diners ive been to. Hopefully others will get the same experience i had.
Maria and staff are always super sweet to my 3 year old daughter and I. We love going for breakfast at El Cafesito! I also go alone atleast once a week and always feel so welcome. 😙
Delicious and not expensive. The only downside is that the orange juice is not natural but the food makes it up for it.
Good service. Friendly staff. Nice simple menu and the food is very good; my daughters loved it! Sad that day did not accept my discount coupon from restaurant.com as advertised. That's why I can not give them a five stars review.
I had a wonderful breakfast from El Cafesito! I want to thank the owner SO much for offering a Groupon deal too (I bought 2). Times are tough financially for many people. Groupons and other coupons or sales are the only way I can still afford to eat the food offered from ANY restaurant. I ordered an omelet with home fries and it was delicious! The waitress who took my order was very pleasant and patient with me as I tried to make a decision from the menu. I will pass the word on to anyone looking for a great local breakfast place 👍
Absolutely love this place! I came here for the first time a month ago to check it out as I advertise my Declutter By Lani company on their placemats. I can honestly say the owner Maria is a sweetheart, the food is great and the place itself is cozy. I will definitely be back and will be taking advantage of their catering for upcoming parties.
