Second time I came to pick up lunch. First time I came for lunch, I tried the Green Chile plate which was fantastic. Good amount of Pork and Potatoes in a really tasty Green Chile and Tomatillo sauce. Beans tasted fresh, and the rice was good. Today I tried the Chicken Flautas with Tomatillo Sauce and Refried beans. All fantastic and well done. Very traditional, not "white washed". One of the better places I have had Mexican food in the Bay Area. Absolutely worth a try!

Came here for a takeout on Friday night. I put in my order at the counter and waited at the outdoor tables right in front for 5 minutes. One of the staff came outside and brought out my order! The two Agua Fresca -- watermelon and cantaloupe -- were made with fresh melons. So refreshing and delicious. The Carnitas Plato was made with fresh ingredients. The beans were cooked perfectly and the marinated braised pork was tendered and meaty. The tortillas were warm. The food here tastes really good. I'm going to try other dishes on their huge menu in the future for sure.

Called ahead to place order. The man behind the phone misunderstood and got our burritos wrong. No big deal, we decided two super burritos are fine. After getting home to enjoy our meal, we realized there is no cheese or sour cream in our “supper burritos” For a $16 burrito I was expecting much more.

Food was amazing customer service was amazing.... The soup was so good .... The hospitality was amazing I'm definitely coming back .... The manager and an older gentleman who works there introduced themselves .... Good people they can have my money... Please tip them everyone they truly deserve it.

What a lifesaver! Rudy and his friends are some of the most efficient, hard-working, and que linda restaurant staff in the area! We return again and again because it's such an obvious answer to: what are we gonna do for lunch?

Wonderfully nice folks, fresh good food made to order, and quick service to boot. I like that they have lengua as well as al pastor on the menu. Horchata isn't cloyingly sweet and their house made salsas have a lot of character to them, not just heat. Big portion size, but the food never leaves me with indigestion or heartburn like a few of the other Alameda Mexi restos because its not heavy/greasy.

I love this place. Their burritos are delicious. Staff is friendly. The Tortilla soup is perfect. I literally eat here multiple times per week, and have not had a bad meal.

Always eat here when we visit Alameda. Best Mexican food on the island. Shrimp tacos were heaven.
