Breakfast Menu "El Burrito Habanero" Lockport

Stopped in on 8/4/2023 and had Tacos Al Pastor and a carnitas burrito bowl. Both were so good, especially the tacos. Also really liked the pickled jalapenos and carrots that were on the table. I love little mom-n-pop places and that's what this is.

Great food. They didnt get my man's burrito correct it was missing the sour cream. Other wise, food was great and delicious. A very inviting atmosphere.

Great food. Lots of meat in the burritos and Tacos. I love the el pastor tacos. Cheese quesadilla are great too. Crispy chips and Pico. I like that the Pico they make fresh and u can pick if I don’t want jalapeños in it. Best place for Mexican food.

I had a very good meal here. I tried the chicken and cheese dinner. Everything was tasty and the service was prompt and courteous. I would recommend and would definitely return.

Food/service ok over all. Habanero breakfast $2 more expensive than listed. Steak fatty/no flavor. Chicken quesadilla excellent! We sat outside as they have picnic tables.

Very nice owners, made a great juicey steak burrito, and salsa was also good ..

I'll give it the three stars, for me that doesn't mean bad. that means pretty good but it was my first stop so I always try places several times before I up my ratings to 4-5 stars. but they're nice people they had great service, the food was good and it was clean and welcoming. I will go back. A few things in doubt I don't know how well my communication was with the clerk, I think their first language was Spanish although they do speak English it's just that I didn't feel like I was communicating well with them. I also tried a prepackaged carrot and pepper jar I'm not sure if it was canned properly but those are just comments like I said it's definitely worth checking out and I will for sure go back get a second bite and maybe even upgrade my review. For Me 3 stars don't mean bad I know everybody wants Five Stars myself included so I won't leave it at this. Update 2.15.22, (Super Bowl Sunday)I have been back several times now, the food does have really good flavor, tacos, beef, pork toastadas, tamales, all quite good. My combo plate without a drink but with carrots on the side ran to $18.00! Wow, thats lunch, not in a major city. Now I will say the portions were considerably smaller, on this visit than before. Quite noticeably smaller and the portion of rice and beans was literally quite stingy and the rice was not fresh it was all stuck together and burnt at the bottom.. They need to step up the quality control overall especially for that price.. Also I will notice mention that I noticed on other visits but specifically on my last visit the entire restaurant was full of smoke from the kitchen. Now the kitchen is sort of window connected to the dining rto the dining room but they definitely need to improve improve their ventilation system in my opinion. it's not the 1st time I thought the place was too smoky to sit there and enjoy my meal. I do like this place the people seem nice although there's a revolving table of helpers. That's how it goes in restaurants sometimes. I will continue to patronize the place and hope that they up there game a little bit. Keep 3 stars or now

As soon as stepped in the smell of sewage hits you in the face. It's disgusting. Ordered ground beef tacos. The meat was burned. But I can't really judge favor of the food because I couldn't get past that smell... Ugh.
